This is the bagua area that hosts both excellent, as well as some challenging energy in 2019. The star of overall good luck and success — Star #1 — will be spending 2019 in the West area. This feng shui star is of the Water element, which is supported by the native Metal element of the West bagua area. Just like in the case of the South area in 2019, if you already have a solid feng shui foundation in your home (meaning each bagua area of your home has its main feng shui element well expressed and nourished), there is little you have to do here in 2019.
I could also build a L-shaped wardrobe in one side of the bed instead, if I don’t place the bed in the middle of the wall, which would create extra space in one side (the bed wouldn’t be squished into a corner, but there would be a considerable difference between the space in one side and the other; let’s say 4 feet in one side and 2 feet in the other side). In your opinion, which scenario would be most optimal? Any remedy for possible issues or variables to avoid?
Most feng shui experts believe that all electronics should be banned from the bedroom. Marks agrees, noting, "I want to say a special word here about televisions. Get it out of the bedroom! You're inviting strangers into your bedroom every time you turn the TV on, bringing that often harsh outer world into your private chamber. Perhaps more importantly, you are distracting yourselves from each other."
Welcome to the world of AYRIAL with the daily AYRIAL: Feng Shui skill! Feng shui is an ancient practice developed over 3,000 years ago in China. Feng shui is not religion or superstition; it is a science because its formulas and fundamentals are based on empirical research and it is an art because experience and judgment are critical in the analysis. Feng Shui focuses on the study of Qi (pronounced “chi”, which is energy) and how it can be harnessed to create harmonious living; better health, successful career or business, and fulfilling relationships for the people inhabiting the space.

The association of the energy of water with wealth is obvious, very ancient and present in all cultures. Fountains are the most popular feng shui for wealth cure,  so if you love fountains, find one (or more) good quality fountains and place them in the best feng shui areas of your home (either inside or outside). I adore this water bell fountain by Woodstock, a classic by now and absolutely the best feng shui fountain I ever experienced! Be sure not to place a fountain in your bedroom – this is not good feng shui.
Kathryn Weber has over 20+ years of feng shui study, practice and professional consultation. Her witty, no-nonsense style appeals to audiences, making her a popular speaker and radio show guest. Sight: As I mentioned before, Earthy tones are really what you want to be seeing in the bedroom. Fiery tones (reds, pinks, and oranges) can also be nice in moderation. Again, these accents should always be presented in pairs. In my bedroom, you'll find a pair of small pink Mandarin ducks—a traditional Chinese symbol. I love these because the story goes that the ducks were always faithful to each other. Find accents like this that speak to you.
We need help with abundance cures. We get a little ahead, and then something always happens to put us back behind. This is a rental house that had much negative energy when we moved in. We seem to have taken care of that, but the lack of abundance remains. We spend most of our time on the screened in back porch, some in the fireplace room, and none in the living room. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/dddd967a29fce3473360756ae5ae92f56206d76355694a3b0360746cb922f471.jpg
Citrine crystal is long known for attracting wealth, so it's often used in feng shui wealth applications. Citrine is also known to strengthen one's self-esteem, so it can be a good choice for your personal jewelry. You can also use a popular wealth stone, like pyrite. One creative way to display crystals is to place them on a feng shui gem tree in your home office for a beautiful look full of meaning and clarity.
Feng Shui (pronounced “fung shway”) examines how the placement of things and objects within it affect the energy flow in your living environment, and how these objects interact with and influence your personal energy flow. Your personal energy flow affects how you think and act, which in turn affects how well you perform and succeed in your personal and professional life. Feng Shui affects you every moment of the day — whether you’re aware of it or not.
Are You using A feng Shui Compass. Its crucial to know which sub direction your house is facing so that you can select the right flying star chart for your home. Lets say your house is facing south. A flying star charts for a  house facing south 157.5 - 172.5 will be totally different from that of a house facing south 172.5- 202.5. So will be the distribution of luck.
Sha Chi is anything unpleasant that brings negative energy: a smelly pile of dirty laundry, harsh overhead lighting, clutter, dirt, or unclean bed linens. Charge your phone or tablet elsewhere to eliminate unwanted magnetic radiation, and wake up to a soundless (no tick tock!) clock with a gradual alarm like this one. Rid your room of anything dangerous, such as a rickety ceiling fan or a shelf with heavy objects mounted over your head.

Feng shui is a Chinese metaphysical philosophy that brings harmony to an environment. Good feng shui does not bring you wealth if you do not strive for it, but it does give you the necessary support to seek your wealth and fortune. Feng shui also helps you use various methods to create an environment at home and in the office that will strengthen you and attract the feng shui energies of prosperity and wealth.
You must have heard me many times saying that the bedroom is the most important room in the house. That is, in a good feng shui house, of course! Instead of focusing most of our attention on grand living rooms and expensive dining to impress others, it would do the house (and us) so much good to create a good feng shui home by keeping our attention on the bedroom. Understand all the guidelines and basics that make a good feng shui bedroom, and then continue to bring lots of love energy into your bedroom.
Live plants have their own chi and will draw chi to them. Don't have a green thumb? "The next best thing is to showcase high-quality silk plants and flowers — not plastic," says Varone. The best places for plants are in the kitchen (between hot and cold appliances to create balance), in the dining room (to draw abundance), and in the family room (to promote health, life, and connection).

So you’ve heard a lot about creating good feng shui in your bedroom and you know that it is so very important to have good energy there, right?  You might also be a bit skeptical about feng shui, or maybe intrigued but convinced that it’s impossible to create good feng shui in your bedroom. Let me help you change your mind while creating great feng shui in your most important room — your bedroom. I am sure you will get to love the process and much enjoy the results. Here come 3 easy steps  (read: rules) to help you get an easy grasp on good bedroom feng shui and even enjoy it in your bedroom on a constant basis!
Display fresh flowers in this area, and keep them fresh and happy. Use the romantic potential of this star by displaying feng shui love cures, be it modern or classical. Choose any symbol or modern decor item that speaks to you of love — such as a statue of lovers, for example — or go for traditional feng shui cures such as the double happiness sign, the Mandarin ducks or the Dragon & Phoenix symbol.
This will allow for the best and most nourishing flow of energy to strengthen your health, as well as the health of your relationship. Keeping your bedroom closet clean and organized will further create a sense of peace and calm in your bedroom. Understand the interaction between the doors and windows in your bedroom and be sure the energy is not escaping your bedroom, but rather nourishes and strengthens it.
Have a solid headboard. The best Feng Shui headboards are the ones that are solid and made from wood, or the upholstered ones, as they have a very good combination of solid, but also gentle and supporting Feng Shui energy for you and your bedroom. While you are drifting off to sleep, your body is going into an extra busy energy repair work on many levels. Subconsciously, your head needs good backing, protection and support, just like your back needs it when you are sitting in a chair for extended periods of time.
Because your bed is the biggest (hopefully!) and the most important piece of furniture in your bedroom, it is very important to follow a good feng shui bedroom layout. Positioning your bed in the best feng shui spot for your bedroom will create better energy in your space, and you will be the one to benefit from it! How do you find the best feng shui spot in your bedroom? Does it require a lot of guessing work or are there good feng shui bedroom layouts that you can just follow in any bedroom?
Use your feng shui birth element to help create a home that nourishes and supports your energy. For example, if your birth element is Fire, you can introduce the expressions of the Fire element, such as triangular shapes or the Fire colors: red, orange, purple, magenta, pink, and yellow. You will also want a strong Wood element in your home, as Wood feeds the Fire element in the productive cycle of the five feng shui elements.

Feng shui is a set of principles to help align one’s living space with who they are and what they want. The practice has been around for thousands of years, but it’s not stodgy or outdated. In fact, it’s seen quite the Western resurgence in recent years, with thousands of trained feng shui consultants currently offering services across the country. Oddly enough, even Donald Trump reportedly hired a feng shui consultant back in 1995.
FENG SHUI seemed destined to go the way of hippie communes, ridiculed as a bourgeois lifestyle fad. Instead, like yoga and organic food, the ancient Chinese practice of positioning objects, buildings and even whole communities to maximize the flow of energy, or chi, has penetrated the culture beyond the New Age world of crystals and chimes. ''Growing up in Brooklyn, the closest I came to feng shui was the Chinese laundry,'' said Robert A. Levine, president and chief executive of the RAL Companies, a real estate development and management firm. ''I thought of feng shui as a lifestyle for certain people versus something to implement in terms of commercial development projects.''
Think of your bedroom as an oasis. Your bedroom should be your sanctuary. It should be an escape from the stress of your everyday life, whether those include your work, your children, your health, or your friendships. It should not be a place where you throw all of the extra things you have no place for. On the contrary, it should be your oasis in the middle of a desert, a place you can come to when you want to rest -- or just when you need a break.[5]
The year of the yang earth Dog Wu Xu 2018 is getting closer and we will be updating all these pages over the next few weeks so you can start preparing for the year of the Yang Earth Dog and you will find the Chinese astrology, flying stars, The Lunar Chinese New Year commences on the 16th February 2018 and the solar year starts on the 4th February 2018. You will so many Feng Shui tips and advice on how to make 2018 the best possible.
Smell: I advise using essential oils in an ultrasonic diffuser or in a candle diffuser (most wax candles these days are packed with synthetic fragrances). Limit it to a few drops of oil in diluted in water, and don't leave them diffusing for more than an hour or two. They are potent! I love lavender and jasmine oils for a calming smell before bed. If I have a cough, I'll go with ravintsara or eucalyptus. Looking to amp up the sexual energy? Check out cinnamon, ylang-ylang, and best of all, winter savory.

This means that if you want to stay healthy, happy, enjoy love and success, your space has to support and nourish this energy. It has to be well suited for your personal energy, as well as the energy you want to attract and cultivate. Just like being in a company of a happy person makes your own energy happy, the same happens with your living (or working) space. If your space has good feng shui vibes — healthy, uplifting, loving and nourishing, you will feel supported and happy. Everything will flow easier for you just because this is the energy you are surrounded by and nourished most often.
When your bedroom is on top of a garage, you sleep can be disrupted by a variety of factors, including the smell of car exhaust, noise from garage door movements, insects that creeps into your bedroom, and warmer bedroom temperatures. If these four factors are non-existent, your bedroom’s feng shui location should be fine. I wrote a full article about it, and you can read it here.
Traditional feng shui relies upon the compass to give accurate readings.[61][62] However, critics point out that the compass degrees are often inaccurate as fluctuations caused by solar winds have the ability to greatly disturb the electromagnetic field of the earth.[63] Determining a property or site location based upon Magnetic North will result in inaccuracies because true magnetic north fluctuates.[64]
