The SE gate position had already been ony mind before you mentioned it. As my neighbours gate is directly right next to it. The other side of the gate, along the front fenceline is a public pathway. It can get very busy with people traffic night and day. I was thinking about having the gate maybe moved to the left and having it staggered slightly offset from the direction of the front door of the property. But thats more money to spend as it would need a builder to rebuild a wall etc. And the front garden area would need rejigging! As for illness,

Without question, the money is always at the front door. Give your porch and front door area a good cleaning. Is there a broken light bulb or a dying plant? Anything that doesn’t work properly, look auspicious or that’s dirty (like a light fixture with dead bugs in it), will lower your financial energy. Spruce up your front door and walkway. Add a pretty pot of flowers here and keep the porch light on and the area will-lit to invite money and opportunity to your home.
Having grounding and balanced energy on both sides of the bed is very important for a good feng shui bed placement. This means you have to have two nightstands (not one), but it doesn't mean they have to match! Be as creative as you feel like and let your imagination soar, but be sure that your bed has access from both sides and is treated well with two similar pieces of furniture on both sides of the bed.

Hello, My Pa Kua Number is 5(Male). As per guidelines, Wu Gui • Direction of Five Ghosts is South East. Now how should I interpret that while doing remedies for increasing wealth in the South East Corner. Should I do install Feng Shui Wealth elements like Laughing Buddha in the North East corner as per the Kua number or shall I follow the basic guidelines for South East being the Wealth Corner.
From painting the walls yellow in the Health Area of your home (for better health and physical well-being) to positioning a healthy green plant in the Family Area of your home or lot (to encourage unity and a stronger family bond), Feng Shui encourages the use of color to enhance your life energy. The following table shows you how to apply color to magnify the energy of each Life Area.
This energy she speaks of, also known as chi, is the foundation of feng shui. Good quality chi in your home is believed to promote strong relationships, support health and wealth and contribute to a better sense of well-being. If your bedroom is cluttered, has too many bright colors and is positioned poorly, your feng shui (and sleep) will suffer. Here are some of Cho’s feng shui tips for building a peaceful bedroom for better sleep.
In order to know why Feng Shui is used in interior design, it’s important to go back to the core foundation of Feng Shui—Chi. Chi is the life energy that you can draw from anything, living and nonliving, on earth. Everything carries Chi whether it’s a tree, a lake, or a person. In order for any being to be healthy, it must have a good flow of internal Chi. Of course, this also means that our surroundings must be healthy as well. If your surroundings aren’t able to maximize the flow of Chi, then they may not be healthy places to stay in.

Define the Bagua, or the feng shui energy map, of your house, by using one of the two main feng shui methods: the classical school Bagua or the BTB grid. Once you define the Bagua, you will know which areas of your home are connected to specific areas of your life. For example, in traditional feng shui, the Southeast feng shui area of your home is connected to the flow of money energy in your life.
As for the negative energies here in 2019 (called three killings), one of the best things you can do is to keep the area quiet and undisturbed. A classical feng shui cure for this specific negative energy is the image of the Three Celestial Guardians (ideally a small sculpture made from metal). Other popular feng shui cures to neutralize the negative energy here are the 6 hollow rods metal windchime, 6 Chinese coins tied in a row, and the salt water cure.

Live plants have their own chi and will draw chi to them. Don't have a green thumb? "The next best thing is to showcase high-quality silk plants and flowers — not plastic," says Varone. The best places for plants are in the kitchen (between hot and cold appliances to create balance), in the dining room (to draw abundance), and in the family room (to promote health, life, and connection).
While this may seem like an obvious problem to tackle around the house, we are all too guilty of accumulating tchotchkes that don't play a specific function in the home. According to Benko, clutter is more than just visually displeasing: "It's an energetic anchor that impedes the best things from unfolding in our lives," she says. "An excessive amount of clutter stops us from having clarity of thought, and can weigh us down emotionally." Feng shui is less about having an overly perfectly styled home, and more about creating a happy and healthy environment.

Now that we've sorted out your bedroom furniture—where is the best place to position your bed for good feng shui? "Every bedroom layout is unique, which means you really need to be observant and creative in how these feng shui principles could best fit your personal space," cautions Cerrano. "In general, it's best to allow your bed to be placed against a solid wall, as this psychologically provides a feeling of support and protection."
Just like making your bed in the morning, opening your blinds before you head out for work may not be engrained in your daily rituals, but it should be: "Opening your blinds and your windows (if weather permits) during the day is a wonderful habit to acquire," says Cerrano. "This is called letting the outside in. It helps to refresh the energy by allowing natural light and fresh air to filter into your bedroom. At night, close the windows and blinds as to keep the fresh energy circulating inside your bedroom when sleeping." Even if you won't be there to enjoy the natural light, let it stream in while you're at work (just don't leave your windows opened and unattended—burglary is never good for feng shui).
I just started looking into feng shui thinking it may help my husband’s stress and conflict at work, ease his tension when he gets home and help my own businesses become prosperous. I’ve been reading so much and sometimes I am not surfe I fully understand. Can you give me some tips? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5b35b0e2b423d0194d698d26075abfec5ad9e1da1b106c015e9d23185aa0b84b.jpg
Let’s look at the 3 best feng shui bedroom layouts, understand what makes them so, as well as define variations of each good feng shui bedroom layout. Why is this important? Well, because sometimes you might not be able to position the bed exactly as shown in the diagrams below, so it is good to know the extent to which you can modify each good feng shui bedroom layout.

Avoid Metal, Water and Fire element decorating. While Metal and Fire elements are never really recommended for the East area anyway, the Water element is usually very auspicious here. However, if you have a strong Water element in your decor already, do your best to make it more subtle/to subdue the power of Water here. The reason for avoiding a strong Water element in the East area in 2019 is the fact that Water is the element that weakens the Metal element, and you definitely do not want to weaken all the auspicious energy that the annual star brings!

The main difference between the practices of feng shui (or "vastu" in the Hindu culture) and Western traditions is a belief that we as humans are connected to the spaces we inhabit. Believers in feng shui see sacred purposes and mystical meanings behind design -- not just artistically appealing buildings or superficially pretty surroundings. They view the world in terms of cosmic energy.

In feng shui, placing your bed in a “commanding position” is key. This means that your bed isn’t directly in line with the door and that you can see the door in front of you when you’re lying down. The commanding position puts you in a “safe” place and gives you a sense of stability (both physical and metamorphic) because you can spot whatever enters your space. Another important part of positioning your bed is to make sure you have equal room on both sides, so both people are able to get into bed easily. By making space, you create a balance of energy on either side of the bed.
You must have heard me many times saying that the bedroom is the most important room in the house. That is, in a good feng shui house, of course! Instead of focusing most of our attention on grand living rooms and expensive dining to impress others, it would do the house (and us) so much good to create a good feng shui home by keeping our attention on the bedroom. Understand all the guidelines and basics that make a good feng shui bedroom, and then continue to bring lots of love energy into your bedroom.

Hello – I am seeking your advice regarding remedies for a challenging master bedroom space (unable to determine a suitable command position for bed placement). The master bedroom is accessed through a bedroom door however the master bath is first, on the right after entering the master door. A few more steps then you arrive in the master bedroom space and the depth of the room is to the right…away from door.

Plants respond to music, light and positive energy. When plants are thriving and blooming with beauty, the energy in your home is abundant and flowing. If plants are browning, sagging or dying, the energy is clogged and stagnant. Plants are very telling of the energy of your home, so keeping them in your environment and taking the time to fill your space with positive energy will keep the energy fluid.
Feng Shui divides the vast environment or landscape that is the universe into more manageable units — like human beings and their homes, property, offices, living rooms, and bedrooms. You can’t control the Feng Shui of the world at large. But Feng Shui enables you to design your personal environment according to the same universal principles of energy flow by which planets spin in their orbits and galaxies wheel through space.

It's important to balance the yin and yang in the bedroom, and one way to do that is by mixing textures, says Cerrano. Yin (the feminine energy) is evident in soft textures like a plush rug or soft blanket and "brings in that mothering, nurturing energy and emotion," she explains. The masculine yang energy, on the other hand, can be found in hard wood floors, for example. However, men can have feminine energies and vice versa, which is why Cerrano suggests balancing hard and soft textures in the bedroom. Los agrees: “Too many bedrooms now are too yang."
Good feng shui is all about good energy, and good energy is alive and moving. This means that for a house to have good feng shui energy, it has to have a constant flow of fresh energy, plenty of natural light, alive items such as plants or flowers, vibrant art, good sounds. Good feng shui also means you know how to take care of the energy in your home as needed – be it with smudging or any other space clearing techniques.
– I have yellowish crystal galloping 5 horses( in an incline up formation) which i bought sometime back however due to mishandling one of the front leg of the horses got broken(half of it). I was thinking of sticking a wooden piece to make for the missing half leg. Should i be looking doing that or shall i discard crystal horses. It is close to 12 – 14 inches in length. If i have to keep horses, which direction would be good for them and which direction they should be facing.

It's hard to rest with too much active energy around you. You have to be aware, for example, of what electricity is running behind your bed. Try to minimize it with a battery-operated alarm clock instead of an electric one. Turn off your phone at night and keep it out of the room. No laptop or computer near the bed. An hour before you go to sleep, stop looking at it.

Looking for an easy way to incorportate feng shui principles into your bedroom décor? Home accessories offer a low-cost, low-commitment way to test them out in your space. "If you are a feng shui minimalist in how you approach enhancing your bedroom's energy, one area that could be utilized as a soft focal point is with the bed accessories themselves," says Cerrano.
5. IF IT’S BROKE, FIX ITDrawers that stick, drains that clog, and even clothes with holes are just a few examples of impediments to vitality in the home. They reflect a sense of “brokenness.” Try putting a red dot on everything that needs fixing as a way to represent the way you want your space to be. As objects are repaired and you peel the stickers off, it becomes symbolic of a positive change in energy.
The stage magician duo Penn and Teller dedicated an episode of their Bullshit! television show to criticise the construal of contemporary practice of Feng Shui in the Western World as science. In this episode, they devised a test in which the same dwelling was visited by five different Feng Shui consultants, all five producing different opinions about said dwelling, by which means it was attempted to show there is no consistency in the professional practice of Feng Shui.
