"Going with an all-neutral theme can be beautiful and elegant," says Benko. "Just remember these two tips: An all-neutral palette feels richer and more balanced if you mix textures, such as a nubby throw, a course jute rug, a smooth stone-topped coffee table and a furry sheepskin rug. Think in layers. Adding in metallics kicks it all up a design notch and delivers a polished feel to the atmosphere."
The lotus flower is a symbol for Healing Beyond Borders/Healing Touch-of which I am a practitioner and when I saw this I thought it would be beautiful in my treatment room. It really is beautiful. the colors at the bottom are reflected in the crystal. I only wish that room received sunlight. I think this is a beautiful accent to any room and I did try it in the sun and it was very pretty.it was packaged lovely and would think of giving as a gift!

Feng shui masters advise using color purple in moderation. As purple color is a very high vibration color, it might be best to bring it into your home with various decor elements―from pillows to art―rather than with wall color. The best feng shui spaces where you can freely use the intensity of the color purple are a healing room or a meditation space.
Crystals are the powerhouses of good feng shui energy; they bring the essence of abundance from deep within the earth. If you are new to crystals, start with clear quartz, preferably in a rough/natural shape. Along with the clear quartz, there are 3 more crystals that can help you attract the energy of wealth: pyrite, citrine and amethyst. Pyrite is excellent as a wealth feng shui magnet, and reasonably easy to find and well priced. Genuine citrine tends to be pricey and a bit hard to find;  amethyst is easy to find, works very well on many levels, including purifying the energy in your home. If there are no crystal shops close to where you live, check our online selection of feng shui crystals (our store is powered by amazon.com).

That's up to you. Some people love looking outside and seeing life go by; others feel invaded. But if you have a big window opposite the front door, the energy can fly right out the window, so it's good to address that: Use drapes or blinds. Or put something in front of the window, like a plant or a pretty reflective bowl, to bounce energy back into the room.
The feng shui element of the East bagua area is Wood, and the element of the visiting star is Metal,  so there is a bit of a clash of elements here. Making the visiting star strong, meaning strengthening its Metal element means weakening the native Wood feng shui element of this bagua area. This scenario often happens with the annual feng shui updates, when you have to focus on subtle feng shui adjustments in order to keep both the visiting star energy, as well as the native energy of this bagua area healthy and balanced. So, what exactly can you do?
Another aspect of good feng shui decorating with plants is the choice of plant pots colors, textures, and materials. Every little detail matters in feng shui because everything is an expression of a specific energy. When decorating with plants, be mindful of your choice of plant containers colors and shapes as a representation of one of the 5 feng shui elements.  This way you can either add or weaken the energy that plants bring into your home.
Each week I go to the grocery store. I come home and place my grocery bags on the counter. Before unloading them, I clean out anything in the refrigerator that is no longer edible either because it has gone bad or I know I’m not going to eat it. I then move the existing items around so that there is some organization among what is left. And then I place my new, fresh grocery items in the refrigerator.
The Wood element is a very common element used in interiors. Trees provide us with an abundance of wood that is used to create common furnishings in interiors. Because Wood is extremely sturdy, while also malleable and easy to shape, it is used in many forms within a home, from the framing of a house to the furniture to the flooring. In areas where trees and lumber processing are more easily accessible, homes are often made of wood, called stick construction.
Bedroom - The color of your bedroom will depend upon your age, personal goals, and whether your room is the master bedroom or not. Pink is best for a master bedroom, because the marriage position on the bagua is placed between fire (red) and metal (white), and pink is the blending of these two colors. Pink or red sheets and blankets ensure a “fiery” marriage bed.
The color associated with Water in feng shui is black and shades of blue. We most commonly associate the color blue with water, which is really a reflection of the sky. This is also why the color black is associated with Water as well. If you think of water at night, reflecting the night sky, it is black. Depending on the moon phase, it will also have a reflective quality too.
The association of the energy of water with wealth is obvious, very ancient and present in all cultures. Fountains are the most popular feng shui for wealth cure,  so if you love fountains, find one (or more) good quality fountains and place them in the best feng shui areas of your home (either inside or outside). I adore this water bell fountain by Woodstock, a classic by now and absolutely the best feng shui fountain I ever experienced! Be sure not to place a fountain in your bedroom – this is not good feng shui.
There are several ways to choose best bedroom colors with feng shui. You can define the best colors for your bedroom based on the bagua area your bedroom is located in (bagua is the feng shui energy map of any given space). You can go for the generally accepted best bedroom feng shui colors, which are all skin tones – from light porcelain to deep rich chocolate tones. You can also choose best bedroom colors based on your personal feng shui birth element. While you can choose just one way and still create good energy, ideally, you will work in 3 steps to define the best colors for your bedroom.
For thousands of years, Chinese artists have used symbols of birds, animals, flowers, plants to attract various kinds of good luck, and today the world is making use of this art prolifically. Feng Shui, the heritage Chinese art of sculpting and capturing the auspicious luck through the beautiful figurines is now a house hold name in India too. Balancing and correcting the chi (positive energy) of your home by following the Feng Shui Tips help encourage and invigorate energy, positivity, and flow.
For children’s beds, this might not apply, but for an adult, feng shui would have you leave sufficient room on either side of the bed for a safe and comfortable exit. This is common sense for a master bed that sleeps two, but it applies to beds for single sleepers as well. Remember, we’re encouraging positive chi and flow, and you don’t want good energy being stopped dead in its tracks on a wall side of the bed!
For example, you could have an indoor water fountain as part of the feng shui in your home to bring in the water element. But you could also incorporate a wavy shape into your accessories to represent the Water element. In the following sections, you will discover creative ways to bring in the five elements into your interiors. In fact, you will soon realize that everything in your home is already composed of one or more of the five elements and start seeing the items in your home in a completely new way.
Adjusting the natural light coming through windows is another way to control the amount of the Fire element. If too much sunlight is coming through, particularly on the South side of the home, then using drapery or blinds is helpful. On the contrary, to allow more natural light, open window coverings. At night, windows take on a yin quality because they create a black hole effect. They actually pull energy out of spaces, so it is important to close window blinds or drapes at night.

Mainly, be aware that this annual feng shui star brings you inspiring energy to fulfill your career dreams. As mentioned before, it is best to find a way — a subtle way — to bring an image or an item here that sparks the vision for your career success. Be mindful to have this image in the best colors for this area in 2019, which are earthy colors, or, if it is a small image, use the Metal element colors (white and silver).  Of course, a combination of these colors and elements will work best!
Plants play an important role in curating good feng shui in any living room because they "add 'life force energy' to the space," according to Cerrano. "They can also help to purify the air and give the room a splash of unique texture with the leafy patterns," she says. Common plants with positive vibes "include English ivy, peace lily, rubber tree, bamboo, succulents and the snake plant."
Make sure you have something representing the five elements — wood, earth, metal, fire, and water — in every room. The goal is to stay grounded, centered, and balanced in your life and your environment. For example, place a wooden bowl filled with stone pebbles alongside a candle and a vase of flowers. Or try to incorporate colors that symbolize the five elements:
7. The sign of 2019 Earth Pig year associates with feminine energy, comfort, tranquility, soft room colors, natural textures. The symbol of the Earth Pig Year decorating is a peaceful river flowing through beautiful farmlands. Wood furniture and decor accessories, water features, houseplants, and earthy colors with a touch of feminine, pale pink are good Feng Shui ideas for interior design and decorating in 2019.

While there is no hard and fast rule about a certain number of seated pieces in feng shui, the idea is to promote conversation and relationships by organized the furniture accordingly. In large rooms, grouping furniture in smaller clusters facilitates closer ties; in smaller living rooms, this arrangement just makes sense inherently. Don’t forget to include a surface for each seat on which inhabitants can place a book, a drink, a pair of glasses, or whatever they may need to set down.
