If your light is too limited to grow healthy plants, or if you simply have a case of “brown thumb,” silk plants are an acceptable Feng Shui alternative to living plants. Be sure to dust them often and replace them if they fade. However, it's best to avoid dried flowers because they represent stagnant energy. If you simply can’t give up your dried arrangements, be sure to dust them frequently and replace them seasonally.
Chlorophytum comosum is a flowering perennial herb which falls in asparagaceae plants family, native to southern Africa. It is popular houseplant commonly known as spider plant. According to Feng Shui, desk size, material, and color all play a vital role in business results. For peak performance, the desk should be large enough to
 provide a comfortable work area but it shouldn’t stand out from the rest of the furniture. An adequately-sized desk symbolizes control and
 authority, but make sure it’s not too huge: if you can’t reach the corners, it means that your career is out of control.
Separating unfinished tasks from completed projects will help you
 gain control over workflow and improve your work focus and organization, and you can use different colored folders to classify files by date,
 status, or category. Once you’ve sorted out paperwork, put away the folders that can wait and concentrate on the files which need to be completed
 without delay.
5. Underneath Beams. Beams are known for their bad feng shui because they bring suppressing Qi (think of the trapped-feeling you get when you enter a place with very low ceilings). That is why feng shui suggest that you avoid sleeping, working, or resting under beams. Placing large tree-like plants underneath the beam is said to help a little, as its upward growth is said to counter the beam’s suppressing Qi.
Crafting some sort of meditative space—be it your desk chair, a floor cushion, a sofa, or a beanbag—is always worth it. Not only will it encourage you to practice more meditation, but it can remind you to circle back to that calm place during stressful workdays. Your favorite coffee mug, a family photo, or an inspiring book can also do the trick to help you feel more settled and relaxed in your space.
