Hi thanks for your interesting articles. Really easy to understand. I will like your advice on my new home. I love it except for one thing – when the main door opens it faces the corridor leading directly to my bedroom at rhe end and worse thing is it also faces my bedroom’s open balcony door all in a straight line. What can i do in my bedroom to block the qi from going out? Will a small piece of furniture in my bedroom plus curtains at the balcony door and a big plant in front of the balcony door help? Problem is my balcony faces Southwest. Will really appreciate your advice as it has been troubling me.
Soft yellow, sandstone, pale gold, pale orange, pale green, and blue-green are always appropriate feng shui office colors. Adding white will increase clarity and mental focus. "In general, office spaces that require writing, mathematics, and science benefit from wall colors in shades of blue, green, or even beige. These are considered a strong backdrop of color. From there, you could accent the office with artwork, lighting, plants, area rugs, and anything else you need to help achieve the best focus and productivity. To stimulate the energy more, implementing touches of warm colors like red, yellow, and orange can stimulate the creative aspects of our brains. In feng shui and on a practical level, we're always looking to establish a harmonious collaboration of colors."
Yellow-tinted and fluorescent lights can make us feel fatigued and dull, and people prone to migraines may find them problematic. Research finds that Compact Fluorescent light bulbs (the twisty ones) may cause skin damage. LED bulbs, the more energy efficient choice, have upsides and downsides as well. They flicker in a hard-to-perceive way that can be disruptive to our eyes and mind, and they contain lots of blue light that can cause eye damage. After a lot of research, I've come to the conclusion that old-school incandescent full-spectrum light bulb may be the best way to go to promote a healthy, harmonious energy. Be sure to shut them off as soon as you leave a room to save energy.
