Kitchens hold special importance in the practice of Feng Shui, alongside bedrooms and entrances. Traditionally, they represent a place of nourishment and family. In an office setting, they are important because they offer employees a space to relax, regenerate and feed their mind. In Feng Shui, kitchens are ideally placed away from main entrances and bathrooms to promote good "chi". Changing the positioning of the kitchen in your office space may not be possible—but managers can use strategically placed furniture, greenery or art to liven up break areas.

The earth element is symbolized by the color ochre (yellow). Use this color as a main color for a southwest (love and relationship happiness luck) or northeast (education luck) home office or company office. You can also add other colors to enhance the energies, such as a brown for a darker earth color. The earth element also govern the center of a home or building. If your office is in this location of your home or company building, then be sure to use ochre as your main décor color. Good color combinations include red (fire produces earth (ash)) and yellow, or orange (fire color variation) and yellow.
It is commonly called as crassula ovate and are creatures that gives small flowers. In Asian countries, people grow this plant, to improve their prosperity.  The plant has coin shaped succulent leaves and it doesn’t require more water. Also, it has shiny leaves. I suggest sitting in a chair, in each of the positions you mention, and seeing where you feel most “in charge” of your space. Without seeing the situation, I am imagining that the Command Position/window setup might be best, as you should be able to block the bottom half of the window so that your Chi energy doesn’t flow out the window. But your own sense of safety and power are what count the most.
One of the key principles of feng shui is achieving happiness. One of the the easiest steps towards achieving this is through organizing and removing clutter around the office. The idea is that clearing away clutter helps bring in vital energy which promotes clarity and focus. Overall, 50% of your desk should be cleared. You want to be able to arrive at a clean desk when you get to work and leave with a clean desk at the end of the day. Taking the extra time to organize things correctly and efficiently will help you from having to do it again in a few months.
You would welcome a blast of positive energy at work. Feng Shui has been around a very long time and maybe there is something to it. At the very least, it asks you to think about what matters to you in life and where your energy should be focussed. When you consider how much time most of us spend at our your desks, a bit of balance with our true priorities might be just what we need.
When it comes to the colors on your walls, use white if you tend to find it very difficult to concentrate because you are in your comfortable home environment. And when it comes to elements, use water to inspire communication, metal to encourage prosperity, earth to promote long-standing relationships and balance in the workplace, fire to boost productivity, and wood to allow your creativity to flow.
If you are hoping for a raise or looking to close a big business deal, metal elements should be put in the western corner of the room and can be used to bring on an increase in financial success, income, or profits. Metal objects can be made of metal or just colored to represent them. Design elements made of stone, metals, or marble will give the impression of professionalism and success.

When you are designing your office environment, not only should you strive to have a desk setup that is practical for your work purposes, but you should also try to ensure that your desk would create positive energy so that you feel more motivated and energized as you work. Most people spend most of the day sitting at their computer desk, and when you spend several hours sitting in the same position looking at the same desk, it is easy for your morale to slide.

I see your concern, because Wood controls the Earth element in the Northeast. First, I would check whether your plants are really in the Northeast. You’ll need to divide your floor plan into 8 pieces, according to the 8 cardinal directions. If they’re really in the Northeast, you can either (1) place smaller plants and/or (2) introduce some fire element to weaken the wood energy.

As an example, let us say that you work in a very bright office (the fire element) with an abundance of light colors including metal filing cabinets, computers, faxes, etc. (the metal element). In this case, you would want to focus on bringing in the other elements. You could bring in some plants for the wood element, some earthy colors for the earth element, and an aquarium for the water element. Read more about the feng shui elements here.
Outer offices: Large offices, especially high-rise offices often have a bank of windows along the outside wall. While it may be tempting to sit with your back to the windows, you will lack the support you need in your work. Place your desk so you have a solid wall behind you. Use a feng shui office layout for auspicious chi energy and success in your career.

A round shape desk or table is an excellent choice for a group meeting as it encourages a free flow of energy, as well as the equality of all people using the workspace. An oval shape desk is similar in function to the round one, but the distribution of energy is not equal. A square shape can be beneficial for a person who tends to get distracted easily and needs more focus and concentration.
