A cubicle is a much trickier Feng Shui situation than an office room. Cubicles are unfortunate paradigms of vulnerability for the individual worker. One of the chief problems is that you don’t use a real desk but work from a countertop, unless you work in one of the large manager type cubicles. However, you can do plenty to improve your situation. By judiciously applying Feng Shui cures, you may find yourself in your own office sooner than you imagined. (See Figure 1 for cure placements.)
7. Accelerates Healing and Recovery Process. It turns out that hospital gardens bring natural medical benefits. Namely, it helps patients heal and recover faster. In a study conducted by HortTechnology, patients recovering from abdominal surgery in hospital rooms were tested. They found that the patients exposed to plants and hospital gardens had significantly fewer intakes of postoperative analgesics, more positive physiological responses, and more positive feelings.
It is commonly called as crassula ovate and are creatures that gives small flowers. In Asian countries, people grow this plant, to improve their prosperity. The plant has coin shaped succulent leaves and it doesn’t require more water. Also, it has shiny leaves. The shedding of the leaves indicates that the plant require more water than you give it daily. It starts to bloom at the time of winter.
All plants belong to the Wood element, and experts use them as a way to balance the elemental energy of a specific area. For instance, it can help boost the energy level of an area associated with wood, or weaken an area associated with water. But of course, there are other factors to consider when balancing the five elements, which we will discuss later.
Because it has the power to increase productivity and happiness, Feng Shui is a great practice to bring into the workplace, and one simple way to do this is by introducing a number of office plants that help Feng Shui. This is because plants enhance the Wood element, which symbolises relationships and new beginnings, while their natural green is said to have a calming and relaxing influence on people.
Yellow-tinted and fluorescent lights can make us feel fatigued and dull, and people prone to migraines may find them problematic. Research finds that Compact Fluorescent light bulbs (the twisty ones) may cause skin damage. LED bulbs, the more energy efficient choice, have upsides and downsides as well. They flicker in a hard-to-perceive way that can be disruptive to our eyes and mind, and they contain lots of blue light that can cause eye damage. After a lot of research, I've come to the conclusion that old-school incandescent full-spectrum light bulb may be the best way to go to promote a healthy, harmonious energy. Be sure to shut them off as soon as you leave a room to save energy.
