Decorate your home or office with a feng shui aquarium to attract wealth chi. This is a fun and lively way to add beauty and wealth to your personal areas and workspaces. You can also use feng shui symbols and images of specific fish to bring a sense of wealth to your environment. Consider using images of art in the bedroom, a fish clock in the kitchen, or a fish shower curtain in the bathroom, for instance.
This problem seems to be a holdover from college days of tiny dorm rooms shared with strangers. Yet we see so many clients in their 20s, 30s, and 40s with boxes and bins under the bed! This space becomes a musty catchall for things that aren’t needed right now or aren’t a priority. Which is really bad feng shui. You’re literally spending the time you’re supposed to be relaxing and restoring floating just a few inches above dust bunnies and a bunch of to-do's. Ideally, under the bed will be totally empty, no exceptions, which allows for optimal energy circulation around the bed. If you are in a tiny studio or sharing an apartment in Brooklyn where your bed takes up about 60 percent of your room, it might be almost impossible to avoid storing things there.

If your love life has gone stale, treat yourself to luxurious new bedding to freshen your relationship and encourage your spouse or partner to linger in bed with you. "Think pink" if you want to add passion to your love life, and sleep on pink sheets to increase the hot, yang energy and enhance feelings of love and romance. Another Feng Shui tip for romance is to be sure you have the right size bed for your relationship. If the bed is too big, partners can drift apart, and if it is too small, they can feel limited in the relationship.
Hi, I will rather new to fengshui but I recently moved into a new place. But i felt that Wealth and career has not been improving and Romance is not smooth sailing also. I wonder if I can increase the fengshui so that things can improve positively. I am not certain of the direction. How should I direction my compass from? Should I navigate from the front of the door or from the centre of the house? Hope someone can provide me with better insights to location.
And then there’s the pillow situation. A welcoming bed has soft blankets and enough pillows for two people. Piling on too many pillows makes your bed feel too crowded and cluttered, according to feng shui experts. Finding the right kind of pillow will depend largely on your sleep position. For example, if you sleep on your back, you’ll want to get a thin pillow to support your neck. (Going too thick will throw it out of alignment).

A couple of things to add, I have 4 laughing Buddha`s – One Jade, 1 Golden, 2 Red(All Standing). One Red and 1 small Gold one have their hands up and Laughing and other two are carrying bags on their back and have place them in Living Room Showcase making them face to main door. I have installed a 18 bells type Metal Wind Chime at the Main Door Entrance Window – Left Side. Also I have 3 Legged Toad – Red Colour whom I have put near to the Main Door Window on a small table(coming inside house) and have put Velvet Red cloth underneath. I have put Money plant on top of Shoe Cabinet which is towards South side wall in the Dinning Room. I am also trying to increase the number of flowering plants at the entrance where there is Car Park.
Hello – I am seeking your advice regarding remedies for a challenging master bedroom space (unable to determine a suitable command position for bed placement). The master bedroom is accessed through a bedroom door however the master bath is first, on the right after entering the master door. A few more steps then you arrive in the master bedroom space and the depth of the room is to the right…away from door.
In feng shui philosophy, your bedroom symbolizes you and affects you the most. We spend many hours sleeping in our beds, so the feng shui of our bedrooms is of the utmost importance. Once you get the bed in the commanding position, it’s also important to have space available on both sides of the bed. This means that you’ve made space for your partner (or future partner). Believe me: Nobody likes to sleep on the wall side! This also allows for a nightstand on each side of the bed. The nightstands do not have to match; however, it’s better if they are similar in size. If possible, there should be at least 2 feet of walking space on the left and right side of the bed, with the headboard against the wall. Yes, you do need a headboard! A solid headboard without bars or holes, fastened securely to the bed, creates stability and harmony. Finally, take some time to make your bed every morning and thank it for supporting you every night. It’s a beautiful way to start your day with a little bit of order and peace. That energy resonates throughout the whole day until your bed welcomes you back to sleep at night.

Feng Shui actually isn’t that hard to practice. The more you do it, the better you get. You learn to develop a sense of visible and invisible energies which have an effect on you. Try to learn as much as you can, because it will help you apply Feng Shui in the most effective way. (some good book suggestions at the end of this article). In your studies, you’ll find there are two types (or schools) of Feng Shui: Compass and Form.
Expenses and career problems can be caused by defects in North or SW of the house. The entrance of the house can also be a culprit. Draw a sketch of your home (mark North on it) and send it to me via with your next comment. you can refer the article @ https://help.disqus.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1360518-adding-images-and-videos to understand attaching an image with the comment.
Some say that sleeping above the kitchen stove brings bad energy that disturbs sleep and creates health issues. Though I do not disagree with them, what I do know is that your bedroom’s temperature may be higher than normal, caused by the cooking activities and the heat given off from the back of the refrigerator. Because the optimal temperature for sleep is around 65 degrees Fahrenheit, you may be losing on some quality sleep.
If you have too many things lying around the house, begin by de-cluttering. Too much clutter sucks out energy and causes confusion, discontentment, and depression. Visualize water flowing in through the entrance and walk from room to room. If something is blocking your way or makes you feel uneasy, get rid of it. If you don’t use something regularly, get rid of that too. You won’t regret it, we promise.
Most of us have televisions in our bedroom. It happens. If you have trouble sleeping it or even if you don’t, it is a good idea to cover the television when not in use. The active energy of the television as well as the electronic aspect of it may be disruptive to the type of calming quiet energy more conducive to sleep and bedrooms. My suggestion, find a beautiful scarf or fabric and just toss it over the television!

Hi Victor! The beam in our room is placed in the middle, so there’s no way you can avoid it even if you move the bed, so i made a diy canopy to cover the beam. We’re living in an apartment so we cannot put a false ceiling. Is canopy fine? Also there is a pillar at the back of our headboard, and again, we cant move the bed in any other place coz we only have limited space. What is the best cure for the pillar? Thanks!

Green is one of the colors I recommend most frequently for interiors. While a light sage green is restful to live with, the purpose of green in the feng shui Money Corner is to look rich, so use a vivid hue such as forest green, Kelly green, or emerald green. One of the nicest things about green is that various shades of it rarely clash with each other—so mixing and matching greens can look as natural as different leaves in the forest.
Get rid of any clutter. To have optimal Feng Shui in your bedroom, you have to get rid of any extra papers, trash, old trinkets, silly photos, useless gifts, or really just anything you don't really need in there. If you have too much sentimental attachment to some of the items, you can put them in storage or another room, but work on minimizing the stuff you really need in your bedroom. Having a spare and uncluttered bedroom will lead to an uncluttered and fulfilling life.

Without question, the money is always at the front door. Give your porch and front door area a good cleaning. Is there a broken light bulb or a dying plant? Anything that doesn’t work properly, look auspicious or that’s dirty (like a light fixture with dead bugs in it), will lower your financial energy. Spruce up your front door and walkway. Add a pretty pot of flowers here and keep the porch light on and the area will-lit to invite money and opportunity to your home.
One of the best feng shui money tips is to add an aquarium to the north or southeast side of your home. The north side attracts career opportunities, while the southeast sector brings financial abundance. The number of fish you have in the tank should be 8 redfish and 1 blackfish since that’s considered a lucky number for attracting positive Chi. The southeast sector is your Feng Shui wealth corner in the living room.

The head of the bed should be against a wall, but not under a window which could allow qi to flow outside and cause restless sleep. It's best not to place a bed under a structural or decorative beam or ceiling fan either, as this is good for neither physical health nor relationships. If moving your bed isn't an option, feng shui practitioners sometimes recommend hanging a bamboo flute (a special feng shui device) from the beam or fan to offset the effects.
In the science of feng shui, symbolic fixes are sometimes called cures or solutions. When it isn’t possible to make an actual change, use a physical object (sometimes very small), which symbolizes your intention for change. At the time you place the object, say out loud what your intention is. You won’t have to say that or think about it again. So whether the change you make is real or symbolic, once you’ve done it, just go on with your happy life.
Spiritual deities are considered sacred, and should not be in the same area where you’re intimate. It is best to remove these from the bedroom and either dedicate a room in your house or another room to display your deities or have an altar. Family pictures should be kept out of the bedroom, too. There’s nothing romantic about wanting to be intimate with your partner and looking up to see a picture of your parents above the bed.
If you can part with having electromagnetic field appliances in your bedroom altogether, that's even better, says Cerrano. "Choosing to leave those types of EMF appliances within your bedroom during sleep increases interference with your circadian rhythm. This is especially true with young children and adolescents," she adds. "Making it an evening habit to turn off your Wi-Fi before going to sleep is another way to help reduce radio frequency pollution," she suggests.

I know many of us could use extra storage, but under the bed is not the place for it! In feng shui, it’s best to have the air flow all around you while you’re sleeping, so it’s a big no-no to have objects under the bed—especially sharp, dangerous items. Other items to watch out for are shoes, books, or anything associated with very active energy. If you have mementos from past relationships stored under there, it may mean that relationship is holding you back. If you must store something under the bed, make it something soft, like extra linens and pillows.
Add water elements to your house. Water is an ancient symbol of abundance. So, place a water fountain in the wealth corner of your home. Make sure the fountain is well lit and the water is moving toward your home instead of outward. Placing a dragon figurine beside a water feature is also believed to attract wealth. If a fountain is not possible in your home, display images of flowing water like a waterfall or a fast-moving river.

Chi energy stagnates whenever there's clutter. Messy crowded closets, drawers, stacks of papers/books, and piles of clothes are the worst culprits for bogging down chi energy and your life. Free up this trapped energy by sorting, removing, giving away forgotten articles of clothing and organizing. Don't let dirty dishes pile up in the sink or trash to overflow receptacles. Use a closet organizing system to get the most out of your storage space. Use a declutter list to help you stay on track.
Water is an ancient symbol of abundance in all cultures, not only in feng shui. Use feng shui fountains – a powerful feng shui cure to attract wealth and fresh Chi. If a fountain will not work in your space or you are just not comfortable with the idea, you can use images of flowing water such as waterfalls, rivers, etc. Any water image is an excellent feng shui for wealth energizer, just be sure the water is clear and moving. So, images of a fast flowing river or a waterfall, for example, are better feng shui for wealth cures than the images of a quiet lake or a pond.

Be sure your feng shui home trinity (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen) is treated well. You need good feng shui energy in these three very important areas of your home. If the energy in one of them is low or unbalanced, it will sooner or later reflect in the energy of your love relationship. Use smart feng shui tips to help you improve this feng shui trinity.

As you know, the native feng shui element of the South area is Fire, so this by itself is already weakening the negative Wood element energy of the visiting star. If you have done a good job with creating harmonious feng shui energy with Fire element decor that is needed in the South bagua area, the potentially negative energy that is present here in 2019 is already diminished.

If you do have a fountain in the bedroom, feel free to turn it off at night, but use a timer so that it’s already going when you get up in the morning. Fountain motors have very strong electromagnetic fields, which are bad for your health if you have prolonged exposure. Don’t place a fountain within a yard of your body where you sleep or sit frequently.

The AYRIAL feng shui tips are very good and not the basic information you can easily find on the internet or outdated YouTube videos. Afterall, classical feng shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy and it’s extremely important to be precise with its information and implementation. While the AYRIAL Feng Shui tips are short and sweet, they are sufficient enough to get the picture. And, of course you can repeat the daily feng shui tip throughout the day.

Water in feng shui represents two things: (1) money and (2) your emotions. (Interesting there's a link.) Why? Again, it’s all about flow. If you have a dripping faucet or a leak in the ceiling that won’t subside, please do everything you can to get them fixed! When you fix something in your home, you are fixing it in your life. You don’t want your money leaking out, do you? (Or your emotions for that matter!)
What if your refrigerator is in your feng shui Money Corner? Having that very boring, functional appliance in that particular area was the predicament of one of my San Francisco clients. To enhance the area, I recommended she replace the refrigerator with one that was cobalt blue. She jumped at the opportunity because she was planning to replace the fridge eventually. The next time I consulted for her, it was at her new chiropractic office, which was several times larger than her previous one. She doesn’t regret the pretty penny she paid for the blue fridge—her practice has continued to prosper. Any fridge in a Wealth Corner should be kept shiny and free of magnets and notes.
“When it comes to choosing bedding, go with something that feels good and that you’re drawn to,” Cho says. “I recommend getting organic cotton sheets whenever possible because they’re toxin-free and breathable. No one sleeps well if they’re too hot or too cold,” Cho says. Softness matters, too. The general rule is that the higher the thread count, the softer the sheets. The National Sleep Foundation recommends going with a thread count between 200 and 400. (Though, in the summer, you’ll want the thread count to be on the lower end to help with airflow.)
The main entry is very important in feng shui as this is the space that has to have the ability to draw in and further invite/direct the incoming energy into your home. It has to have a quality of energy that is welcoming, as well as self-contained, so that the energy can settle in. There should be no doors or windows directly facing the front door. When you have any door facing the front door – be it a bathroom door or a back door –  the energy easily escapes without being able to nourish the house. The same scenario can be created by a big window facing the front door as this will promote a leakage of incoming energy.
The southeast sector is the wealth sector and can be activated by good luck charms and feng shui cures. Stimulate it by adding the element of wood, like a jade plant, or a symbol of wealth, like three Chinese coins tied together with a red ribbon. A three-legged toad with a Chinese coin in its mouth is also an auspicious symbol of wealth. A water feature will feed the wood element and stimulate a growth in wealth. Be sure the water flows into the home and not away.

The Golden Rooster or the Red Rooster is a lucky element for those who want to obtain a promotion. On the other hand, it is beneficial when placed in the office because it balances the energies, it improves communication and it helps to establish new contacts and relationships. Chinese people like to decorate it with lucky coins and to place it in the north or south side of the office.
It's hard to rest with too much active energy around you. You have to be aware, for example, of what electricity is running behind your bed. Try to minimize it with a battery-operated alarm clock instead of an electric one. Turn off your phone at night and keep it out of the room. No laptop or computer near the bed. An hour before you go to sleep, stop looking at it.

The SE gate position had already been ony mind before you mentioned it. As my neighbours gate is directly right next to it. The other side of the gate, along the front fenceline is a public pathway. It can get very busy with people traffic night and day. I was thinking about having the gate maybe moved to the left and having it staggered slightly offset from the direction of the front door of the property. But thats more money to spend as it would need a builder to rebuild a wall etc. And the front garden area would need rejigging! As for illness,
Love, relationships, and marriage is the life area connected to the southwest bagua area of your home. It is recommended to always express, at least in some of your southwest feng shui cures, the energy desired in your ideal love relationship. If you are looking for love or you want to replenish the energy that nourishes your present love relationship or marriage, the feng shui in this area should reflect this. The feng shui element of the southwest bagua area is earth, so the cures you will bring into this area should be either of the earth element or of fire, the element that nourishes the earth.

In Feng Shui art, it is recommended to place green plants in the office. They are valuable for health and work conditions because they bring positive energies and they increase the creative work and the productivity. The best plant for office is bamboo because it brings luck. Place the plants from east to south-east. Avoid cactuses, bonsai and sharp edged leaves plants.
Rectangular or square tables are OK in the dining room because, even though they have corners, no one will be sitting in front of a point, as they might with a coffee table. But if a circular or oval table fits perfectly, it's an excellent choice. Natural materials, like wood, feel solid and warm. The sound of glass hitting glass can cause tension. And people get overly protective with glass tables—anything too precious brings on nervous energy.

The feng shui Money Corner should be clutter-free and tidy, with clean windows. This is the wrong place for an open trash can—if the can must be there, it should have a lid. Avoid bare glass edges in your Wealth Corner, and don’t keep broken or malfunctioning objects in this area. If the Money Corner of the home is a child’s bedroom, it’s important to have a picture of the parents or head(s) of the household on the wall in that room. Otherwise, the child can become too powerful in the home.
Fish bowl location is a loaded question. Some quick facts: it depends on its size. As for living areas, its not suitable for bedroom but suitable for bedroom. As for Bagua, anywhere that needs MORE wood and water elements is suitable (determined by various factors, such as amount of living space in that area of the home). Southeast and East is wood, so they are suitable there (but again, not in kitchen or bedroom). Also, don’t place the fish bowl on the “ghost line” – https://fengshuinexus.com/blog/feng-shui-rules-related-to-supernatural/
If you must store items under the bed, then do so in this order: clean bed linens, clean towels, clean out-of-season but beloved clothing. Storage should be well-made, closed bins that fit easily under the bed (i.e., if you have to pull everything out in order to find what you want or if the bins are forced up against the bottom of the bed frame, it’s no good). Do not store at any cost: mail, power cords, to-do’s, anything unkempt. Be certain to regularly clean under the bed and declutter any noncrucial items.
The south-west corner of your home is your love corner, and if you are truly working on your love feng shui, then you need to work out which corner that is. Declutter this area and make sure that it contains no mirrors, plants or work-related objects, these kinds of things don’t make for good relationship corners. If you want to rev it up a notch, add some pink, red or white to the corner too. These colours are fortuitous in the love stakes according to feng shui.
Any images you hang on your bedroom walls should be inspiring, uplifting, or relaxing. One of the best places to hang such an image is on the wall opposite your bed so that you see it first thing when you wake up and the last thing before you turn off the lights to go to sleep. Don't bring sad or upsetting images into your bedroom, or paintings or photographs that feature just one person: This symbolizes solitude. It's also best to avoid images in which a lake, waterfall, or river is the dominant theme. In other parts of the house, water symbolizes money, but in the bedroom, it may promote financial or relationship losses.
If there are areas or objects in your home that are collecting dust, it may symbolize areas of your life that are stagnant and ignored. If you don’t need that object, maybe it’s time to donate it. And if there’s a room you haven’t stepped foot in, maybe it’s time to peek inside. It can be as simple as taking the time to move things around to stir up some good energy.

Any time you use a mirror that is larger than a coin there are several important considerations. Mirrors should not reflect a view of clutter, toilets or only the bottoms of stairs. If you can see part of yourself in a mirror, you must be able to see your head fully and completely; this is true for any adult in the household. Your image must not be distorted by such things as tinting, worn silvering or the cracks between mirror tiles. Finally, a mirror must never be positioned directly across from another mirror. If nothing else, cover one of the mirrors so they do not reflect each other.
Decorate your home and office with specific feng shui wealth cures that appeal to your taste and style. There is a variety of feng shui money cures – from traditional to modern – so take your time and bring into your space only the wealth cures that really speak to you of abundance and wealth. No matter which feng shui cure you choose – an aquarium for wealth or the Laughing Buddha, be sure you choose wisely.

The best feng shui is intuitive. In other words, feng shui simply makes us more aware of the dynamics that affect our psychology and behavior. Case in point: would you be more likely to plan a romantic date in a subtly-lit, ambient restaurant or a fluorescent-bright one? Ambient, of course. So to attract and promote harmonious romance, light your home in an ambient way as well.

These artworks can range from paintings to other types of home décor. As mentioned earlier, they are most suitable for the bedroom and sometimes the bathroom. Artworks with a pair of Mandarin Ducks are the most popular, well known, and widely used traditional feng shui cure for love. I personally suggest that you pick the artwork that you have the most feel for.
The Horse is one of the four Feng Shui animals that attracts success and luck. It symbolizes victory in everything you pursuit. A silk parchment with 8 magnificent horses represents an excellent remedy for activating success in your career and business, all throughout the period of 8, from 2004 until 2024. It attracts new opportunities, chances of profit, benefits, success, and accomplishments.
Locate your feng shui money area and take very good care of it. Typically, this is your home office where you manage finances and other work. You will want to include elements like wood, which represent money and wealth. The color blue and pictures of rivers, lakes, and oceans represent water, which nourishes the wood. You can also use mirrors, plants, and small icons that symbolize prosperity.
