When it comes to moving past a failed relationship, your first order of business is cutting the cord to your last one. “We use the word ‘energy cord,’” Cerrano says. “If you have all this stuff from [a past relationship] scattered through your home, it’s energetically creating a cord to that person. When you're done with a relationship, it’s recommended that, at your own pace, you release the things that aren’t beneficial anymore.”
The flowers are blooming and spring is in the air! Since Spring is the time for spring cleaning, now is the time to rethink, reorganize and revitalize your house with a little Feng Shui. Here are 9 simple tips for bringing positivity into your home with Feng Shui design principles. Nine is the most auspicious number in Feng Shui, so if you can manage to do all nine of these, you will attract even more good energy!
Avoid Metal, Water and Fire element decorating. While Metal and Fire elements are never really recommended for the East area anyway, the Water element is usually very auspicious here. However, if you have a strong Water element in your decor already, do your best to make it more subtle/to subdue the power of Water here. The reason for avoiding a strong Water element in the East area in 2019 is the fact that Water is the element that weakens the Metal element, and you definitely do not want to weaken all the auspicious energy that the annual star brings!
Hi, I will rather new to fengshui but I recently moved into a new place. But i felt that Wealth and career has not been improving and Romance is not smooth sailing also. I wonder if I can increase the fengshui so that things can improve positively. I am not certain of the direction. How should I direction my compass from? Should I navigate from the front of the door or from the centre of the house? Hope someone can provide me with better insights to location.
The entry and front door to your home represent the way you face the outside. It’s how the world sees you, like a first impression. Be sure to keep the area clean and clutter-free. This does not mean the entry must be completely empty; rather it’s about keeping only what you need there. So if it’s winter, it makes sense to hang your scarf, hat, and coat there. The interior and exterior entry should also be well lit (get some bright bulbs on a dimmer!). Lastly, be sure your door number is clean, hung straight, and easily visible. Auspicious opportunities need clear signage to find you! In addition, I often recommend a nice black rectangular welcome mat to attract good energy.
Limit the presence of crystals in the Southeast area in 2019. Even though crystals are an excellent feng shui cure for the Southeast area, in 2019 they are not ideal here because their element — the Earth feng shui element — is strengthening the Metal element of the visiting negative star. This means in order to limit the negative energy here, it is important to limit the elements that strengthen the negative star.
too long a list. if u follow every bit written here, you will literally go insane. what i know is that our human brains acclimatise to our surroundings. I was once in africa where noise was always a problem including bedrooms that broke all the laws you hav elisted here. I had a problem sleeping the irst few weeks but I finally got used to it coz i had no where else to go. If the brain realises that there is no solution BI can tell u from experience that it will take on anything.

If you happen to have an uncovered drain in your shower, bathtub, or any of your sinks – especially one that resembles a black hole – you unfortunately have a powerful visual affirmation of wealth and resources draining too quickly out of your bank account and life. Luckily, the solution is simple: take a trip to the hardware store and get yourself a drain cover.

Purple’s not for everyone, and if it’s not for you, please skip on down to the next color. If you already like purple, or think you could be talked into it, read on. Purple is the color of royalty. That was the case in ancient China and in ancient Rome; in both cultures only royalty were allowed to wear purple. The island that produced purple dye (from seashells) was left off of the ancient Roman maps of the Mediterranean so that emperors could maintain their monopoly of the color.
Love, relationships, and marriage is the life area connected to the southwest bagua area of your home. It is recommended to always express, at least in some of your southwest feng shui cures, the energy desired in your ideal love relationship. If you are looking for love or you want to replenish the energy that nourishes your present love relationship or marriage, the feng shui in this area should reflect this. The feng shui element of the southwest bagua area is earth, so the cures you will bring into this area should be either of the earth element or of fire, the element that nourishes the earth.
This problem seems to be a holdover from college days of tiny dorm rooms shared with strangers. Yet we see so many clients in their 20s, 30s, and 40s with boxes and bins under the bed! This space becomes a musty catchall for things that aren’t needed right now or aren’t a priority. Which is really bad feng shui. You’re literally spending the time you’re supposed to be relaxing and restoring floating just a few inches above dust bunnies and a bunch of to-do's. Ideally, under the bed will be totally empty, no exceptions, which allows for optimal energy circulation around the bed. If you are in a tiny studio or sharing an apartment in Brooklyn where your bed takes up about 60 percent of your room, it might be almost impossible to avoid storing things there.
In a practical world, televisions and laptops are often a necessary evil in your sacred bedroom space. It's impossible to get away from technology, so a compromise solution is to place your TV in an armoire or another cabinet that can be closed when you're finished watching TV for the night. Close your laptop when not being used and store inside a nightstand or drawer. That way, they are at least out of sight and your space while you rest.
The feng shui Money Corner should be clutter-free and tidy, with clean windows. This is the wrong place for an open trash can—if the can must be there, it should have a lid. Avoid bare glass edges in your Wealth Corner, and don’t keep broken or malfunctioning objects in this area. If the Money Corner of the home is a child’s bedroom, it’s important to have a picture of the parents or head(s) of the household on the wall in that room. Otherwise, the child can become too powerful in the home.
Ready to have more money owing in? Concentrate on the southeast section of your home and add things that make you feel wealthy. “I remember one client whose southeast area was her toilet,” Lohan says with a chuckle. “So I said, ‘Don’t worry. What makes it feel luxurious?’ ” The client went on to add new towels, beautifully scented soaps and fresh owers. “It’s about creating abundance and prosperity in that area,” notes Lohan.
One of the most spiritually damaging things is clutter, whether you see it or not. Chaos is the enemy of Feng Shui and even the mess under your bed can affect the energy flow in your bedroom. Take some time to clean the area under of your bed and you may feel a positive change the next time you go to sleep. Besides, clutter creates stress and we should keep it to a minimum as much as possible.
I decided to implement every single big-payoff tip to see what would happen. I put a cool-looking symbol under my bed that was supposed to bring me a husband (nope), did a ceremonial orange peel water sprinkling around my house to create good fortune (couldn’t tell the difference) and buried coins in rice in a big vase to bring money (also, no dice). I couldn’t understand why this stuff didn’t work for me.
The idea, says Benko, is to strike a balance between all elements. "A lot of times, people are drawn to elements that they either need more of, or that's a great cause of imbalance in their lives." For instance, people having issues with aggression should be mindful of not having too much fire elements as part of their decor, like a bright red wall. Conversely, personality types lacking motivation should infuse more of the fire element in their homes to give them a boost.
