Across the Internet, there is an abundance of comments of people seeking to implement Feng Shui in order to gain wealth. I’ve never read a comment about someone who has actually achieved wealth doing this. And I mean wealth, not just a raise in pay, or a discounted purchase, or even a gift of money. None of those things are wealth, and why invest so much hope and desire for such small returns? I am referring to the type of wealth enjoyed by 1% of Americans. Can this realistically be achieved in a timely manner by strategically placing a Wealth Vase in the home? If so, what if the closet of the bedroom where the vase is to be placed is on the north-east side of the bedroom? And if the vase should be hidden, can this simply be achieved by covering it with fabric? What if the only people who would see it are only family members who live in the home? I should also add to my skepticism that if “soil from the home of someone wealthy” is a required ingredient in the Wealth Vase, then anyone who only knows poor people wouldn’t be able to secure this ingredient.
Plants with purple leaves or flowers are excellent in the feng shui Wealth Corner. Any African violet that has richly colored flowers is excellent, with purple or violet being the ideal colors. Purple wandering Jew (Tradescantia zebrina or T. pallida) is easy to grow with adequate sun and water. Velvet plant (Gynura aurantiaca), which was also recommended for the Relationship Corner, has beautiful soft, purple hairs and is good in the Wealth Corner as well. Plants with rich red or blue flowers are also excellent.
First of all, thank you for sharing and creating this site. Its very useful and informative. I just want to ask your opinion about our house. it belongs to my father. my family (me, my husband and my son) lives with him for the past 6 years now. we are sleeping at the 3rd floor of the house. our problem is we are not able to save money. and every time we receive a large amount of money one of my family get sick and the money goes to the hospital bills. please help us.

The association of the energy of water with wealth is obvious, very ancient and present in all cultures. Fountains are the most popular feng shui for wealth cure,  so if you love fountains, find one (or more) good quality fountains and place them in the best feng shui areas of your home (either inside or outside). I adore this water bell fountain by Woodstock, a classic by now and absolutely the best feng shui fountain I ever experienced! Be sure not to place a fountain in your bedroom – this is not good feng shui.
Is it okay if my head faces the door? The foot of my bed doesn’t face anything, and my head of the bed is against the wall where behind it is my main entrance door to the home. I have both sides of the bed free (not against a wall, but on one side, there’s the bedroom door, the other side, the window. When I open my bedroom door, there is about 2-3 feet of space to my the bed, idk if it’s still good or bad feng shui? Thank you!

The ideal location of your bedroom is far from any doors that open to the outside world. Avoid bedrooms with sloping roofs. If you have to sleep underneath a sloping roof, you can use a canopy bed to weaken the effect. A canopy can also provide protection from other negative ceiling elements, like bright light fixtures, a bathroom on the floor directly above you, and a ceiling fan.
Hi victor , I was just wondering where could I place my bed it’s a little bit small space. If I place my bed in a command position the feet of my bed will face the closet door but it will also beside the window and some part of the bed has a poison arrow because of the edge of closet. But the other option is that the bed position will be close to the bedroom door. What should I do. ? Where should I put the bed? Hope you can help me. Thank u

One of the best ways to improve work and finances is to move your desk to the command position of the room. The command position is facing the door that opens into your office. Whether your office is strictly at home or you have one at home and in another location, it's important that you move your desk to this position. Make sure that you sit with a solid wall behind you and not a window. A window will not offer you any support in your work or career.
Getting started with feng shui for your home is easy when you begin with the house basics and gradually move on to the more complex feng shui levels. After you have mastered these seven home feng shui steps, you can explore the deeper levels of feng shui, such as the annual movement of feng shui stars, or energies. The important things to remember are to start simply, have fun, and thoroughly enjoy the process—this is good feng shui.

In feng shui, it's said that mirrors in front of the bed invite a third person into the marriage. Mirrors are also thought to reflect energy around a space, which could disrupt your sleep. If you do need to have a mirror, make sure it's facing something that you love looking at. (This may seem like common sense, but it's something a lot of us forget about!)
Any images you hang on your bedroom walls should be inspiring, uplifting, or relaxing. One of the best places to hang such an image is on the wall opposite your bed so that you see it first thing when you wake up and the last thing before you turn off the lights to go to sleep. Don't bring sad or upsetting images into your bedroom, or paintings or photographs that feature just one person: This symbolizes solitude. It's also best to avoid images in which a lake, waterfall, or river is the dominant theme. In other parts of the house, water symbolizes money, but in the bedroom, it may promote financial or relationship losses.
Life is insanely busy, so in theory, we all should have a serene place to escape to at the end of the day to relax and refresh, but let's be honest—most of us put those bedroom refocusing goals on the back burner. But today is the day you actually commit to revamping your sleeping space and turn it into a total zen zone, and feng shui is a good place to start. It's an ancient practice that aims to create harmony between you and your environment. While it may seem mysterious and complicated at first, feng shui expert Catherine Brophy knows the easiest ways to incorporate it into your day-to-day life.
Since energy enters through the main portal (read: your front door), you don't want to have it shoot straight up the stairs, says the feng shui expert. Remember how you envisioned the chi as a guest? When you invite a visitor into your home, it would be weird for them to head straight to the fridge or the bedroom, right? Instead, you want them to linger in the common area.
