If you’re married or in a relationship, you can place happy photos of you and your partner around the house. That includes the kitchen, hallways, or any high-traffic area. Though I don’t think this is feng shui related, I do agree that reminding yourselves of happy times together creates inner positive energy that’ll boost the intimacy between you and your partner.
This tip does not have much to do with classical feng shui but can help some individuals. Some people are just uncomfortable displaying affection publicly. But sometimes it’s not just the sight, it’s the sound as well. If your partner is more introverted, you can improve bedroom romance by closing the window or installing heavier doors to increase privacy that’ll shield not just sight but sound as well.

Be sure your feng shui home trinity (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen) is treated well. You need good feng shui energy in these three very important areas of your home. If the energy in one of them is low or unbalanced, it will sooner or later reflect in the energy of your love relationship. Use smart feng shui tips to help you improve this feng shui trinity.
Find the best furniture layout with your bed in the so-called commanding position and/or facing one of your lucky feng shui directions. Have access to your bed from both sides and have (no matter how small) nightstands on both sides of the bed.  Be mindful not to have a mirror facing your bed or any sharp angles pointing at you while you sleep. Understand what makes a good feng shui bedroom layout and see if yours is close to having good feng shui. If you feel like moving your furniture from time to time, this is perfectly fine, just be sure you know the best spots for your major furniture pieces. A good placement of furniture — especially of your bed —  in your bedroom will allow for a stable and harmonious flow of energy that every room needs  (and especially a bedroom).
Focus on Water element feng shui cures in order to exhaust the Metal element of the visiting negative star, and at the same time to strengthen the native Wood element of the Southeast area. There is a variety of Water cures you can bring into your Southeast area — fountains, mirrors, images of water, decor elements such as pillows, rugs, lampshades, etc in flowing shapes (the shapes of the Water element) and in predominant colors of blue and black (the colors of the Water element). Even a simple bowl with water that you keep fresh and change daily, with a clear intention, will work well as a feng shui cure for the Southeast area in 2019.

Bright lights rev up energy. If you're trying to keep energy costs down, then place high-wattage bulbs in the hallways, and lower-wattage bulbs in the rest of the house. "Hallways represent the meridians; the brighter the wattage, the more clean and clear your veins and arteries are," says Whitehurst. Want to light up internally? Place objects around your house that elicit positive emotions and lift your own personal chi. If a particular item makes you feel giddy, put it in a place where it's easy to see.

Get rid of clothes you no longer wear. Go through your closet and drawer and remove all of the clothes you haven't worn within the last year. Donate these clothes or pass them on to a friend or relative if they can still be worn. Even though you may not see the old clothes, keeping them in your bedroom may prevent you from embracing new opportunities.
Keep your bed far away from any TVs, desks, or other distractions. Ideally, you should move your desk and television out of your bedroom, so the bedroom truly becomes a place where you can rest and relax. However, we all have limited space, so if you do have a television or a desk in your room, position it as far from your bed as possible to not get in the way of the bed's positive energy. If you can, drape a light scarf or blanket over the TV or desk, or even cover it up with a Japanese folding closet to create even more space.
Next, be sure to remove all photographs of your children, parents, and pets from your bedroom. After all, do you really want them “watching” you in bed? Instead, display a current photo of you and your spouse/partner doing something fun or romantic. If you aren’t in a relationship right now, display an image that represents how it will feel when you find that special someone. Then, place a pair of night tables in your bedroom, because for couples this encourages equality in your relationship, and for singles it invites a partner into your bedroom.
Things that look like money, but that you can’t really spend, are not recommended in the feng shui Money Corner. This includes objects with dollar signs as their design, as well as fake money, such as from board games or enlarged reproductions of paper money. Don’t store bills that you owe or have paid in the Wealth Corner. They represent money leaving you.
When you hear about untimely muggings, rapes, accidents and deaths on news you must remember that the victim was at the wrong place at the wrong time. When you learn about feng shui numbers you can reduce the occurrence of accidents and misfortunes in your life. Also you must know how to activate good stars that cause financial windfalls, unexpected good news or opportunities, promotion at work, a chance meeting that brings happiness.

Mirrors are the absolute must have feng shui wealth magnet for so many reasons! They bring more light, joy and the energy of the water feng shui element into any space. Mirrors also create beautiful pathways for new and joyful opportunities, just be sure to go for the best mirrors you can find; the ones that your heart adores and your room looks good in. Golden framing is obviously the best choice for a mirror as a wealth feng shui cure.

Similar to meditation, the practice of feng shui is deeply steeped in mindfulness, in slowing down and noticing the details in your life so that you can truly experience the present moment. The words "feng shui" are Chinese and translate to "wind" and "water." Wind is our breath, and humans are almost 60 percent water. Wind and water are vital elements for life, as is feng shui! Historically, feng shui has roots in Taoism and Buddhism. However, elements of feng shui are palpable in every culture across time. For instance, these days we can all feel the difference between a New York City apartment and a quiet hidden cabin in the forest, and we understand that our surroundings greatly affect our energy.

Finally, imagery is powerful. So be sure your imagery supports your goal of harmonious romance. For example, if you realize your artwork is purely comprised of paintings and sculptures of people by themselves, or even if you’re displaying a single, striking image of two people who seem unhappy together, you are not leveraging the psychological power of symbolism to your advantage. On the other hand, if you choose artwork that depicts happy human couples, sweet and whimsical animal couples, or even two trees that you might say are in harmonious relationship, you’re surrounding yourself with visual affirmations of that which you desire. And that’s a powerful thing to do.
Brighter colors tend to shout out at you, which can amplify your emotions and give you more energy. They also reflect more light, which is known to disrupt your biological clock and keep you awake. If you desire to use bright colors, you may need to dim down the bedroom lights to balance out the brightness. Another method is to use the bright colors as accents rather than the main theme.
Feng shui has a variety of love tips or tips for using feng shui to find (and keep!) a joyful love relationship. All of them are based on the fact that if the feng shui of your bedroom is vibrant and harmonious, your love life will flourish, too. Here is a quick feng shui love checkup of your home to see if you are really open and ready for lasting love.

When choosing a color to paint this room, it is important to keep with the earthy tones to help let the earth and wood element thrive throughout. Colors like green, brown or blue can help to stabilize the energy in the room and give a cohesive feel. Using a splash of a vibrant color can also help energize the room. So think of adding a splash of color to the earthy tones in the room.

When it comes to color, Marks believes, "Color is usually used to enhance a particular kind of energy (element) or to balance the yin/yang relationship. Some feng shui consultants work with color a lot, others not so much, saying that there are more powerful ways to affect the energies. Personally, I love color and use it a lot because it can have a tremendous impact on how we feel in a space." Decorate the bedroom walls in color, texture, patterns, and artwork. Use feng shui compass directions to aid you in color selection.
The far left corner of your backyard is also a feng shui Money Corner and should be maintained with special care. Make it inviting with plantings or a decorative object (such as a purple gazing ball) that draws the eye. Do not keep your garbage cans here, but it is fine to have a compost bin—you are making rich soil. One of my California clients had a locked shipping container permanently parked in the Money Corner of her backyard. She said it was full of old files and records, but that she had lost the key years ago. She was having a lot of trouble decluttering her home, and the stagnation in the Wealth Corner of her yard was exacerbating the situation. The feng shui solution in a case like that is a call to the locksmith.

Good feng shui is all about good energy, and good energy is alive and moving. This means that for a house to have good feng shui energy, it has to have a constant flow of fresh energy, plenty of natural light, alive items such as plants or flowers, vibrant art, good sounds. Good feng shui also means you know how to take care of the energy in your home as needed – be it with smudging or any other space clearing techniques.
I just started looking into feng shui thinking it may help my husband’s stress and conflict at work, ease his tension when he gets home and help my own businesses become prosperous. I’ve been reading so much and sometimes I am not surfe I fully understand. Can you give me some tips? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5b35b0e2b423d0194d698d26075abfec5ad9e1da1b106c015e9d23185aa0b84b.jpg
Have a solid headboard. The best Feng Shui headboards are the ones that are solid and made from wood, or the upholstered ones, as they have a very good combination of solid, but also gentle and supporting Feng Shui energy for you and your bedroom. While you are drifting off to sleep, your body is going into an extra busy energy repair work on many levels. Subconsciously, your head needs good backing, protection and support, just like your back needs it when you are sitting in a chair for extended periods of time.
Make sure the bed is positioned as far from the door as possible. Place the bed in the area further from the door or diagonally from the door, but not in line with the door. In other words, you want to be able to see the door while in bed, but not be aligned with the door. Be it the bedroom door, the door to the balcony/patio, the bathroom door or your closet doors, you do not want your bed in line with any of the doors in your bedroom, or too much chi will flow towards the bed. Ideally, the bed can be diagonally positioned from the door, jutting out from the opposite corner.[1]
While this may seem like an obvious problem to tackle around the house, we are all too guilty of accumulating tchotchkes that don't play a specific function in the home. According to Benko, clutter is more than just visually displeasing: "It's an energetic anchor that impedes the best things from unfolding in our lives," she says. "An excessive amount of clutter stops us from having clarity of thought, and can weigh us down emotionally." Feng shui is less about having an overly perfectly styled home, and more about creating a happy and healthy environment.
