A wealth ship is another popular symbol of wealth in feng shui. The wealth ship must be laden with lots of gold coins and precious stones and jewels. It is believed that this wealth ship will not only help you grow your money but also protect your existing wealth from getting depleted. The wealth ship should be placed in the money corner of your living room, in such a way that it appears to be sailing into your home from the main door. Keep adding gems or coins to it once a month. You can even add foreign currency to attract wealth from around the world. Do not place the wealth ship in a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Never display empty ships.
For the first position: feet facing the closet door should be ok, if it’s not the door of a walking closet. As for the edge of the closet, can you place the edge close to the wall? It’ll help mitigate its effect. Having the window beside you is acceptable if it’s not right next to your head. However, there’s still some health consequences from the outside wind that you should watch out for.
Sorry, your comment went to spam and I just saw this. Window and bedroom door alignment just means you have a stronger flow of wind coming from your window, if they’re both open. Some may say it’s bad because energy cannot gather (which is what Feng Shui is all about). To remedy, just keep your door and window open at the same time for no more than 2 hours a day. It’s also not too big of a deal if you keep the both open – it just means it’s harder for the bedroom to gather Qi energy from the outside.
Mirrors are equally beneficial as they relate to careers and feng shui. However, they should not directly face the bed since they can drain your energy. Mirrors are also associated with the water element, which shouldn't be placed in a bedroom. According feng shui guru Lillian Too, the purpose of mirrors is to reflect negative chi energy away from you.
Find the best furniture layout with your bed in the so-called commanding position and/or facing one of your lucky feng shui directions. Have access to your bed from both sides and have (no matter how small) nightstands on both sides of the bed. Be mindful not to have a mirror facing your bed or any sharp angles pointing at you while you sleep. Understand what makes a good feng shui bedroom layout and see if yours is close to having good feng shui. If you feel like moving your furniture from time to time, this is perfectly fine, just be sure you know the best spots for your major furniture pieces. A good placement of furniture — especially of your bed — in your bedroom will allow for a stable and harmonious flow of energy that every room needs (and especially a bedroom).
The positioning of your bed is extremely important for proper Feng Shui energy flow. A bed should never be west-facing. Nor should it be placed under a support beam. Your headboard should not lean against a window; however, it should lean against a solid wall, but never the bathroom wall. A bed should be parallel or perpendicular to a wall and should not face the bedroom door directly. Finally, a bed should not face a mirror.
In feng shui philosophy, your bedroom symbolizes you and affects you the most. We spend many hours sleeping in our beds, so the feng shui of our bedrooms is of the utmost importance. Once you get the bed in the commanding position, it’s also important to have space available on both sides of the bed. This means that you’ve made space for your partner (or future partner). Believe me: Nobody likes to sleep on the wall side! This also allows for a nightstand on each side of the bed. The nightstands do not have to match; however, it’s better if they are similar in size. If possible, there should be at least 2 feet of walking space on the left and right side of the bed, with the headboard against the wall. Yes, you do need a headboard! A solid headboard without bars or holes, fastened securely to the bed, creates stability and harmony. Finally, take some time to make your bed every morning and thank it for supporting you every night. It’s a beautiful way to start your day with a little bit of order and peace. That energy resonates throughout the whole day until your bed welcomes you back to sleep at night.
I sure hope you can help us. As soon as we get money it seems to disappear immediately. We can’t save and unexpected expenses keep happening at every corner. We live in an apartment complex. We’re in the Northwest corner of the building on the first floor. It’s a 4-plex. I have attached a diagram of our layout if you could take a look. Any suggestions are welcome. We are getting married in July of 2017 and would love to save up for that as well as a down payment for a home.
You must have heard me many times saying that the bedroom is the most important room in the house. That is, in a good feng shui house, of course! Instead of focusing most of our attention on grand living rooms and expensive dining to impress others, it would do the house (and us) so much good to create a good feng shui home by keeping our attention on the bedroom. Understand all the guidelines and basics that make a good feng shui bedroom, and then continue to bring lots of love energy into your bedroom.
In feng shui, a mirror can symbolize several different things, depending on its use and what you say when you install it. It is most commonly used to reflect harsh energy away, in which case the shiny, reflective side faces the area where the problem originates. Another use of mirrors is to expand a space, which they do by visually erasing a section of wall. We mostly use small mirrors in feng shui, but when thinking of erasing a wall, imagine the wall covered in one large sheet of custom-cut mirror glass. The wall would visually vanish—replaced with a view of the room. That’s what symbolically happens when you use a very tiny mirror.
Feng Shui is not just about building financial wealth and abundance. It is also about simplifying your life and attracting more harmonic energy into your spaces. The arrangement of these non-living and living elements works in harmony and creates a subconscious effect on your soul when given necessary time. And you see these grow more and more by noticing positive effects in your life.
Mirrors are the absolute must-have feng shui wealth magnet for so many reasons! They bring more light, joy and the energy of the water feng shui element into any space. Mirrors also create beautiful pathways for new and joyful opportunities, just be sure to go for the best mirrors you can find; the ones that your heart adores and your room looks good in. Golden framing is obviously the best choice for the use of a mirror as a wealth feng shui cure.
In feng shui philosophy, a crystal represents the dispersing of energy because a clear, faceted crystal can indeed disperse energy—it can refract clear sunlight into rainbows. It can be a manufactured crystal (usually disco ball or octagon shaped) made of clear glass with a high lead content so that it makes rainbows in the sunlight. It can also be a natural, from-the-earth crystal but it must be quite clear or have rutilations that cause rainbows within the crystal. Keep the crystal clean so that it can sparkle. When placing a crystal, say out loud your rationale with words something like, “I am placing this crystal to disperse harsh energy from (name what the problem is) before it reaches people.”
To ensure the constant flow of good energy throughout the home, wind (air) and light must move as well. You’ve decluttered your home in step one, making it easier for energy to flow. Now open the windows to increase air flow. Maximize light movement by keeping all glass, mirrors and windows clean. Have a dark corner or space that needs a little brightening? Add a lamp to illuminate the spot, or place a mirror to reflect light from a different spot.
Once any Sha has been identified, you can apply feng shui remedies and cures which will eliminate negative energy flow. Clean out the clutter, throw out junk, get rid of stuff you’re not using, fix broken windows, etc. For things such as exposed beams, placement of furniture or appliances which can’t be moved, use an appropriate Feng Shui cure to restore and energize Ch’i.
Bedrooms beautiful spaces of all that represents you. It is well known that you can tell so much from a person just by how htere bedrrom looks and feels. Your bedroom reveals so much from a your interior style, daily lifestyle and personality. A bedroom is a sacred place and should be treated as such, it should reflect the inner most deepest sense of oneself. Its a sanctuary a place to shut out the world and be at one with yourself and your intimate thoughts and feelings.
Your bedroom is the outward expression of your love for yourself, so start loving yourself more as love leads to all things good, no matter you are sharing your bedroom with a loved one or only with yourself. Ultimately, love does not come from the outside but is rather an expression of your own energy. So express it more, as well as nourish and strengthen this expression with good feng shui in your bedroom.
Rearrange furniture to help the chi energy to move freely around your house. Visualize the chi energy as water entering your home and attempting to flow from room to room. Move the furniture out of the natural pathways and don't overcrowd rooms with furniture. Leave space enough between pieces of furniture so the chi energy can move about the entire room.
If you are single, clear some room in your closet and hang several empty hangers to show you are ready to share your space with someone special. Clear out some space in your medicine cabinet or on a shelf in your bathroom so a partner has room to fill in the empty space with toiletries, and make room in the pantry and refrigerator for a partner's favorite foods. Remove artwork from your bedroom that shows a solitary or lonely scene, and replace it with images of a happy couple to make you more receptive to a relationship.
Without question, the money is always at the front door. Give your porch and front door area a good cleaning. Is there a broken light bulb or a dying plant? Anything that doesn’t work properly, look auspicious or that’s dirty (like a light fixture with dead bugs in it), will lower your financial energy. Spruce up your front door and walkway. Add a pretty pot of flowers here and keep the porch light on and the area will-lit to invite money and opportunity to your home.
Are the 2019 feng shui updates important? Should you rush into applying them in your home as soon as we enter 2019? Will the annual 2019 feng shui updates make a big difference in your home or office? Let’s explore. The annual 2019 feng shui updates are used mostly with the classical feng shui bagua, meaning you can look into applying them in your home or office this year if the way you defined the bagua of your space is by using the classical bagua style.
Limit the presence of crystals in the Southeast area in 2019. Even though crystals are an excellent feng shui cure for the Southeast area, in 2019 they are not ideal here because their element — the Earth feng shui element — is strengthening the Metal element of the visiting negative star. This means in order to limit the negative energy here, it is important to limit the elements that strengthen the negative star.
Learning what not to do in your bedroom is as important as learning what to do! Sometimes, this can even be a powerful shortcut into really feeling good versus bad feng shui energy in the bedroom, and knowing, on a deeper level, what makes a good feng shui bedroom. Below are many feng shui "what not to do" tips that will help you, in an easy and entertaining way, to create good feng shui!
The bedroom is the hallway and centre-space to your relationships, and we know successful relationships equals prosperity. Keeping a mirror in your bedroom invites infidelity and bad blood in relationships. So make sure you keep the mirrors out of that private space. If you do this, you will notice your romance blooming and your relationship with your spouse or partner improving. Just give it some time.
These are firm rules like “no computer in the bedroom” or “no cell phone close to the bed”, and definitely “no TV or exercise equipment in the bedroom”. Why? Mainly because they create high EMFs for which you pay dearly (often without understanding why you are not feeling well). They also slowly but surely destroy all the goodness you want to have in your most intimate space — the energy of genuine love, deep connection and sexual healing.
The feng shui element of the East bagua area is Wood, and the element of the visiting star is Metal, so there is a bit of a clash of elements here. Making the visiting star strong, meaning strengthening its Metal element means weakening the native Wood feng shui element of this bagua area. This scenario often happens with the annual feng shui updates, when you have to focus on subtle feng shui adjustments in order to keep both the visiting star energy, as well as the native energy of this bagua area healthy and balanced. So, what exactly can you do?
What makes a strong feng shui front door? A door that is proportionate to the size of the house, that opens easily and freely, enjoys beautiful paint in the right feng shui color and has good door hardware. A door that is well-lit, has a good pathway leading to it, as well as opens up into an inviting main entry. In other words, a door that invites both respect and admiration, a door that looks good and feels good.
Speaking of the entry way being beautiful and uplifting, wind chimes help purify the energy near the front door while calling in positivity and blessings. So as long as you won’t be irritating the neighbors (never a good feng shui strategy), find some wind chimes with a sound you adore and hang them near the front door to invite more money into your life.
Speaking from personal experience back in my college days, there are many ways to hurt yourself if your bedroom is filled with clutter. You can trip on something. You can step on your own clutter. Worse, you can stub your toe. The pain associated with that can wake you fully and can completely disrupt your sleeping cycle. Maybe you can relate to this funny Vine video that shows “how it really feels when you stub your pinky toe”:
There is a specific money area in feng shui that needs to be treated right, and for this, you have to know the bagua, or the feng shui energy of your space. Here I am referring to the creation of a small altar/shrine/sacred space that you devote to the energy of wealth. It can be anywhere (except your bathroom, laundry or garage), and as big or as small as you like. Basically, you want to create an area that has the task of collecting wealth energy. Decorate it with meaningful to you items of wealth (jewelry, specific photos, objects of value, etc), as well as good feng shui energy activators such as crystals and plants.
