The feng shui Money Corner should be clutter-free and tidy, with clean windows. This is the wrong place for an open trash can—if the can must be there, it should have a lid. Avoid bare glass edges in your Wealth Corner, and don’t keep broken or malfunctioning objects in this area. If the Money Corner of the home is a child’s bedroom, it’s important to have a picture of the parents or head(s) of the household on the wall in that room. Otherwise, the child can become too powerful in the home.

This tip does not have much to do with classical feng shui but can help some individuals. Some people are just uncomfortable displaying affection publicly. But sometimes it’s not just the sight, it’s the sound as well. If your partner is more introverted, you can improve bedroom romance by closing the window or installing heavier doors to increase privacy that’ll shield not just sight but sound as well.

Are You using A feng Shui Compass. Its crucial to know which sub direction your house is facing so that you can select the right flying star chart for your home. Lets say your house is facing south. A flying star charts for a  house facing south 157.5 - 172.5 will be totally different from that of a house facing south 172.5- 202.5. So will be the distribution of luck.
If you look at your bedroom right this moment, what feelings or energies are your bedroom colors expressing? Is it love, happiness, nourishing sensuality, and devotion? Or is it a cold sense of isolation and loneliness? Of course, I am emphasizing here just two ends of a wide spectrum, and there are so many states in between. Learn the feng shui power of color and find out how to choose best, most nourishing colors for your own bedroom.
Feng shui is a Chinese metaphysical philosophy that brings harmony to an environment. Good feng shui does not bring you wealth if you do not strive for it, but it does give you the necessary support to seek your wealth and fortune. Feng shui also helps you use various methods to create an environment at home and in the office that will strengthen you and attract the feng shui energies of prosperity and wealth.
Brighter colors tend to shout out at you, which can amplify your emotions and give you more energy. They also reflect more light, which is known to disrupt your biological clock and keep you awake. If you desire to use bright colors, you may need to dim down the bedroom lights to balance out the brightness. Another method is to use the bright colors as accents rather than the main theme.
You attract what you are, so be aware of the quality of your personal energy at all times. Being and expressing love means feeling totally loveable (which you are!) and not looking for love out of need, fear or insecurity. Feng shui can help you create a space that will support and strengthen your energy, thus allowing you to feel secure in yourself, happy and loveable. It will also help you express the energy of love with various symbols (also called feng shui love cures), be it classical or modern. Have at least several feng shui love cures in your home and place them in either your Love and Marriage bagua area or your lucky feng shui direction for love.
We are a family of 6 with my husband, and 2 kids age 5 and 3, my dad and sis in law. We sleep in bedroom 1, my dad sleeps in bedroom 2 and my sis in law at the servants room. I humbly need your advise on money and career growth. And i want a stable and increase income in my career. I also have other questions: where will we put our dog? he is at the covered patio near main door. Where is best place to put aquarium? And lastly, what will we do with our neighbors in the north and east side of the house? There house is higher than us and sometimes they can be a bit of a bother.

The best feng shui advice for choosing bedroom art is to choose images that you want to see happening in your life; you want images with nourishing, happy and beautiful energy. Unless you enjoy being sad and lonely, do not use sad and lonely images in your bedroom. Best art for the bedroom are images related to the emotions of love, happy relationships, body healing, and intimacy.

TV and computer screens emit high EMFs which are dangerous for your health and they often come with connotations of work, noise and stress, which is not what you want in your bedroom. If you do want a TV in your room, make sure it is turned off for at least an hour before you go to bed. Not only for Feng Shui benefits, but because this is proven to help you get a better night’s sleep.
Make sure the bed is positioned as far from the door as possible. Place the bed in the area further from the door or diagonally from the door, but not in line with the door. In other words, you want to be able to see the door while in bed, but not be aligned with the door. Be it the bedroom door, the door to the balcony/patio, the bathroom door or your closet doors, you do not want your bed in line with any of the doors in your bedroom, or too much chi will flow towards the bed. Ideally, the bed can be diagonally positioned from the door, jutting out from the opposite corner.[1]
Have inspiring art in your bedroom. Hang up images of calming scenes from nature, or other places that inspire you. Pick some neutral scenery, an image that motivates you to achieve your dreams, or something else that puts you in a calm and peaceful frame of mind. Anything too graphic, gory or just disturbing does not belong in your bedroom. Place the most inspiring image across from your line of sight in the bed, so that it's the first thing you see when you wake up.[7]

If beams are horizontal across the body, depending on how many beams there are and where they land on the body, they indicate the meridian that will be affected. For example, if there are horizontal beams running over your head and stomach, you may be more prone to issues with digestion, headaches, reproductive organ issues and so forth. It is best to cover up the beams with either sheet rock or beautiful romantic billowing fabric to avoid any negative results.
Think back to your twin bed or futon in college. Would you still want to be sleeping in it? We didn’t think so. Cho says getting a full or queen size bed is ideal for feng shui because it fosters a restful night of sleep and lets chi circulate properly beneath it. It also creates a sense of togetherness between you and your partner (or future partner!). By comparison, twin beds can feel constricted and impermanent, whereas king size beds can be too spacious to promote intimacy. Plus, going oversized often means split box springs under the mattress, which can create disharmony, not to mention cause issues with your back, Cho says.
Smell: I advise using essential oils in an ultrasonic diffuser or in a candle diffuser (most wax candles these days are packed with synthetic fragrances). Limit it to a few drops of oil in diluted in water, and don't leave them diffusing for more than an hour or two. They are potent! I love lavender and jasmine oils for a calming smell before bed. If I have a cough, I'll go with ravintsara or eucalyptus. Looking to amp up the sexual energy? Check out cinnamon, ylang-ylang, and best of all, winter savory.
Looking for a new job can be all- consuming and frustrating, especially if your LinkedIn and Glassdoor searches feel fruitless or résumés have been met with silence. “Let go of anything that is not in alignment,” says Lohan. If the books in your home o ce are all about your previous line of work, swap them out for texts that are essential to your current industry. Is there something new you want to learn or a company you’ve set your sights on? Bring in a book or object that’s related to it, Lohan advises. “It doesn’t need to be on display; it can be discreetly hidden. But you know it’s there, your house knows it’s there and you’re seeding the desired result. That’s really what I love about feng shui—it helps you create a fertile environment.”
A good feng shui bedroom decor is a balanced decor that promotes the best flow of energy for restorative sleep, as well as sexual healing. The best feng shui bedroom colors for are considered the so-called "skin colors," and we know the colors of human skin vary from pale white to rich chocolate brown. Choose colors within this range that will work best for your bedroom decor.
Artworks have a profound impact on our emotions. Do not hang paintings that depict violence, sorrow, or religion (such as angels) in your bedroom because it can invoke strong emotions that’ll distract you from your sleep and bedroom romance. Instead, try to use artwork that symbolizes love, such as two lovers kissing each other, because they can influence your behavior through social proof. In other words, you’ll feel more comfortable connecting intimately when you see another couple doing the same.
Thank you for your valuable advice. If we place the bed with head in the south then there is a overhead storage beam. The bed may not fall directly under this beam, there may be very little gap …is that ok. Also, should i get some vaastu shanti Pooja done to help my career and job prospects. Were you able to see the other room drawings. Does that need any correction.

You came to our house to do a consult right after we moved in and suggested that I paint a wall in my bedroom red or purple—it was the wealth corner of the house and also the wall that connected the wealth and relationship corners in my room. Well, I painted the wall a deep, vibrant purple and a number of things happened: We sold the house for almost three times what we paid for it; I became romantically involved with a friend; and my son-in-law got an offer to work.

When your bedroom is on top of a garage, you sleep can be disrupted by a variety of factors, including the smell of car exhaust, noise from garage door movements, insects that creeps into your bedroom, and warmer bedroom temperatures. If these four factors are non-existent, your bedroom’s feng shui location should be fine. I wrote a full article about it, and you can read it here.

"Family pictures don't belong in the bedroom," says Whitehurst. "It's the most intimate room in the house and should be reserved for you and your partner." Pictures of children, relatives, and friends may cause you to think about your obligations — and that doesn't allow the mind (or body) to rest. So keep only pictures of you and your spouse or partner in the bedroom, and put other pictures in the dining or family rooms.
Avoid a mirror that faces your bed or a mirrored set of closet doors. If these mirrors are fixtures that you can't get rid of, then drape some fabric over them. Left exposed, they are thought to disturb your sleep. In general, you should avoid having mirrors in your bedroom, especially if you're sharing it with a romantic partner, because they may open up a space for infidelity. Mirrors are also too energetic for such a restful space.

So, there you have it, your 3 feng shui for wealth tips! As with any feng shui applications — be it for health, for love or for money — you have to be patient and genuine in your feng shui work. Feng shui has been successfully used for over five thousand years, so it can certainly help you, too. Just make an effort to be consistent, and always use your best judgment.

Make sure the bed is a good height. To allow for a balanced Feng Shui energy flow under the bed, you need to have your bed at a reasonable height above the floor level. Generally, the beds that have built-in storage drawers underneath to help you with storage solutions are considered bad Feng Shui beds. Why? Because the energy needs to circulate around your body when you sleep, which is not possible if the space underneath the bed is blocked.

Aim for equality. Try to have equal space on either side of your bed and other furniture. A person should be able to walk around as easily around one side of the room as the other, within reason. Of course, a piece of furniture may add some inequality, but in general, you should avoid letting most of the stuff in the bedroom clutter over to one side, or you'll create discord in your most important room.

Studies have found that colors definitely affect behavior, emotions, and moods. Decorating with yellow and red not only create an environment that induces high-paced activity, they also increase appetite. Have you ever wondered why restaurants stick towards these color palettes in ads and materials? Now you know. Using lighter tones like green, brown, or blue are best for making your bedroom a more relaxing and restful place.
Anjie Cho, feng shui expert, interior designer and creator of Holistic Spaces, says, “Your bedroom represents you. Other than maybe your office, you spend a majority of your time in your bedroom, especially if you get six to eight hours of sleep at night.” And that’s when the so-called magic happens: “Because you’re unconscious and in a passive state while you sleep, you’re open to absorbing energy around you more easily,” Cho says.

Small bookshelves are fine. However, if you have bookshelves that are more than six feet (180 cm) tall, then you are better off without the bookshelf. The reason is that the large furniture can give you that invisible pressure that makes you feel oppressed. It’s similar to the feeling you get when you drive right next to a truck or when you’re standing right under a monumental structure.
In a practical world, televisions and laptops are often a necessary evil in your sacred bedroom space. It's impossible to get away from technology, so a compromise solution is to place your TV in an armoire or another cabinet that can be closed when you're finished watching TV for the night. Close your laptop when not being used and store inside a nightstand or drawer. That way, they are at least out of sight and your space while you rest.
The bedroom is, understandably, a highly important relationship zone in your home. No matter if you are looking for the one or trying to get back on track with your long time lover, many feng shui experts agree that a new set of bedsheets and a new duvet cover will help reset your love life. Simple and easy, this is a good first stop for getting your love feng shui on track, plus you can go shopping at one of our favourite interior design stores.
When it comes to accessorizing, Cerrano encourages choosing items you love in order to optimize the energy of your bedroom. "Accent pillows, a throw blanket, paired with a comforter can all help enhance the energy through subtle colors, patterns, and designs," she suggests. "What you choose would all depend on the overall atmosphere you are aiming to create along with what is already established within that room." Follow your gut and decorate with textiles that bring you joy.
If you have even one leak – anywhere in or around your house – stop reading this blog post and fix it now. In feng shui – and in life – water is wealth: a water leak is both literally and figuratively a leak of precious resources. That’s why fixing leaks will help you save and retain money, rather than watching it flow out just as soon as it flows in.

In feng shui, houses are absorbing most of the needed energy nourishment via the front door, so the stronger your front door, the more good feng shui energy it can absorb. And the more good feng shui energy your door can absorb, the better energy is there to support you!Having a strong feng shui front door It is a bit like having a clear, strong voice and speaking up for yourself/letting yourself and your needs be known. Houses need to have a clear voice, too.

“It is ideal to have two bedside tables on either side and a sturdy headboard and/or a solid wall behind your head. Make sure you’ve invested in a high quality mattress – if your current one is old with lumps and bumps it won’t promote the healthy sleep you need. It will turn your sanctuary into a nightmare of aches and pains”. It is also ideal to have your bed away from the door if you can help it.
Hi, I will rather new to fengshui but I recently moved into a new place. But i felt that Wealth and career has not been improving and Romance is not smooth sailing also. I wonder if I can increase the fengshui so that things can improve positively. I am not certain of the direction. How should I direction my compass from? Should I navigate from the front of the door or from the centre of the house? Hope someone can provide me with better insights to location.
Without question, the money is always at the front door. Give your porch and front door area a good cleaning. Is there a broken light bulb or a dying plant? Anything that doesn’t work properly, look auspicious or that’s dirty (like a light fixture with dead bugs in it), will lower your financial energy. Spruce up your front door and walkway. Add a pretty pot of flowers here and keep the porch light on and the area will-lit to invite money and opportunity to your home.

Get rid of any clutter. To have optimal Feng Shui in your bedroom, you have to get rid of any extra papers, trash, old trinkets, silly photos, useless gifts, or really just anything you don't really need in there. If you have too much sentimental attachment to some of the items, you can put them in storage or another room, but work on minimizing the stuff you really need in your bedroom. Having a spare and uncluttered bedroom will lead to an uncluttered and fulfilling life.
If possible, put a fountain in your Money Corner and keep it going. If you’re willing to do that, you won’t look back. Some feng shui consultants advise not having water or images of water in a bedroom. I’ve not seen a detrimental effect in people’s lives when they have water images in their bedrooms—just don’t overdo it by using water as the main decorative theme in the room. Here’s my advice: When a bedroom is in the feng shui Money Corner of the whole house and whoever sleeps there doesn’t mind the fountain going all the time, then consider installing one. Some people find that keeping a fountain going all the time is like having a pet because a fountain does require attention. What you never want in a Wealth Corner is a fountain that isn’t circulating water—you would be sending a message opposite to the one you intend.

Feng shui for wealth is one of the most popular applications of feng shui.  The focus on attracting material wealth is actually one of the reasons feng shui became so popular in the West, since we’ve heard about many business tycoons using feng shui for more profits and stronger financial security. Of course, there is much more to feng shui than its wealth building appeal! You can use feng shui to create a better quality of life, improve your health, attract more harmony to your relationships, help build a successful career, etc.
