Who has not heard of Feng Shui symbols like chinese dragon, laughing buddha or phoenix  ? Some of the feng shui symbols are well known like mandarin ducks or the lucky bamboo. Whether you use feng shui symbols as gift or as an expression of good wishes you must know where to place it. Otherwise they cannot fullfill the great promise of their meaning. 
In feng shui, chi is what we call life force energy: known to yogis as prana. And the front door is known in feng shui as the “mouth of chi.” In other words, it’s the place where blessings and abundance of all varieties enter both your home and your life. As such, abundant wealth, as well as the consistency of your financial flow, correspond with the appearance and condition of your front door. That’s why a clean, bright red door is an iconic feng shui image: red relates not only to prosperity, but also to vitality, success, and general positivity. But you need not have a red door (unless you want one). Just make sure you love the way it looks, it’s clean, it’s in good repair, it doesn’t squeak or stick, it has full range of motion (nothing is behind it), and the area around it (the entire entryway) is also beautiful and uplifting.
You'll also want to consult a Bagua map to see what elements to pull into your space. Locate what Bagua your bedroom is located in relationship to the front door of your house, and add accessories accordingly. For example, if your bedroom falls in the Health and Family area, where the dominant element is wood, try to incorporate greens and blues in order to sustain that element.

Always be mindful of the energy in your home and how it influences your wellbeing. Make a habit of paying close attention to the so-called feng shui "trinity" that is deeply connected to your health: your bedroom, your bathroom, and your kitchen. Nothing is static in the world of energy, so you must remain mindful of their condition and effects. Embrace and promote the right energies for you to keep your home healthy and happy.

"Choosing to leave those types of EMF appliances within your bedroom during sleep increases interference with your circadian rhythm. This is especially true with young children and adolescents," she adds. "Making it an evening habit to turn off your Wi-Fi before going to sleep is another way to help reduce radio frequency pollution," she suggests.

This practice speaks more to everyday habits than layout or décor, but Cerrano stresses that it's nonetheless important: "Making your bed may seem small and insignificant, yet a greater development within your conscious and subconscious minds is evolving. This simple act becomes your first accomplishment of the day and it only requires two minutes of your time. This also creates a mind-set of being organised, which helps reduce stress and increase motivation. It’s also a means of self-respect, because it means you've taken the time to prepare your bed for sleep as your mom or dad may have done during childhood. It's a little slice of self-love."

7. Let there be light. When lighting your bedroom, flexibility is key. You want lots of natural light during the day, soft light in the evening, and darkness while you sleep. Exposure to sunlight first thing in the morning influences your serotonin levels and can affect you for the rest of the day. When choosing your light, make sure to provide a variety of sources, include overhead, table, and wall lighting.
The diagrams are also linked with the sifang (four directions) method of divination used during the Shang dynasty.[37] The sifang is much older, however. It was used at Niuheliang, and figured large in Hongshan culture's astronomy. And it is this area of China that is linked to Yellow Emperor (Huangdi) who allegedly invented the south-pointing spoon (see compass).[38]
